State your preferred VIP

I was wondering if this idea would be useful:

Introduce a new section on your profile where you can state which colour VIP you prefer to be awarded if you ever win any.

This means staff can simply click on your profile and see if you have this field filled in, rather than PMing you each time and you having to reply with the same colour each time. If you don't fill it in, then staff would simply PM you as normal.

Thoughts?

As useful as it seems, I don't think it would work well really as some people may like to vary their colours, and of course when the VIP is from a 'limited only' time like christmas, easter, etc would still have to ask and ofc most people would probably not fill it in.

Wait, are you allowed to win limited edition VIP? I thought you could only buy it?

to be honest I think it's about time the feature that allows you to choose your VIP colour at any time was introduced. obviously separate different types of vip so if you buy for example christmas vip then you can choose between those colours.

I spoke to blob a while back about a plugin so I know that it's definitely possible so don't know what's stopping it.

That would be a better idea actually, staff giving you a certain amount of VIP days to claim, and you claim it yourself.

Surely that could work exactly the same as the current shop? Introduce a new currency that you can only be given by staff, and then use that currency yourself to claim your own VIP.

So if you won SNQ, you would get 31 VIP tokens, then you could buy VIP in 1/7/31 day increments or something.

Actually, maybe not. If you buy the exclusive VIP from the shop now, it's not automatic is it? You still need someone to add it on.

About VIP, I just think the same colour months should not be put together.

For example, I buy 2 purple vip and 2 pink vip and it makes me get it in that order. So instead of having to ask whoever is doing it now to change it as soon as the month ends, I think it would be better if we could swap it ourselves and put 1 purple, 1 pink, 1 purple and then finally the last pink.

Yeah you still need to request it :(. Shame it doesn't work automatically, and LiquidLuck.; I agree that'd be so much easier :P.
