Do you honestly enjoy driving?

If not, have you ever?

If you have, what took away the enjoyment?

What conditions do you usually drive (night, early morning, rush hour, etc?)

Where do you typically drive (motorway? city center? etc not literally the area)

don't enjoy it
never have
other drivers take away the enjoyment, don't particularly like having people overtake me stupidly when i have a 3 year old in the back
usually only drive in clear weather and morning/afternoon
wont drive in the city and rarely drive in town, it's usually driving from one town to the next which is mostly just roads, don't have to go through much streets to get to them

I love driving, even in my dying VW

I'm usually driving in the morning at 6-7 & the evening time around 4-5 'cause that's when I start/finish college/work but that's only on loads of side roads and a few main ones so it's not that much fun but I don't mind it

my absolute favourite time to drive tho is at night on the weekends 'cause radio 1 is always really good at that time and I just love driving in the dark, my dash is blue and red so it gives me frills when it lights up

I'm no car enthusist though I just enjoy driving, I've had chances to drive some really nice cars around test tracks in the past and I really enjoyed it

Do you honestly enjoy driving?
- not really tbh. it's just nice to know and have.

If not, have you ever?
when i first started learning ye cus it was soo exciting

If you have, what took away the enjoyment?
literally everything pisses me off. people who drive in the MIDDLE of the road annoy me so much and people who drive right up back of you and also people who overtake u when you're going over the speeding limit anyway :S

What conditions do you usually drive (night, early morning, rush hour, etc?)
i mostly drive in the evenings, as everything is in such close proximity to me. when i'm driving it's cus the shop across from me has closed and i need something, or im bringing the dogs off.

Where do you typically drive (motorway? city center? etc not literally the area)
countryside probs

I do enjoy driving but I haven't driven for a long time now. It's mainly down to how expensive it is and the fact that I have little use for a car at the moment.

I love it most of the time :P

I love driving to and from work or to places I know, as it can be quite relaxing and it's hard to explain but its like a time where you can reflect on things and have your own space!

Day or Night driving doesn't bother me, although people who don't dip their headlights at night piss me off :@

I don't enjoy driving in bigger cities or places I haven't been to as it really stresses me out when I get lost haha! Especially with multiple lanes leading to various places etc.

Came across a roundabout with like 6 exits and millions of lanes etc the other day and it scared the **** out of me! Especially considering like 3 of the exits led onto the motorway so if I had ended up in the wrong lane I could well have had a panic attack!

Never been on the motorway yet despite driving for over 5 years now!

Overall I would say despite getting frustrated at getting lost in new places (even with the aid of ma satnav) I am a pretty confident driver, and I've never had any accidents or problems or anything (other than a ******* pothole ;l) and I love my car to bits :D

I don't like driving. I've had my L plates for like a year and i've only done 1 hour because my first lesson was really scary. So yeah should probably get my act together with driving.

love driving

normally drive at about 8:30 in the morning to go to sixth form and then at about 4 to come home. I live in a village and my sixth form is in the next town so its country-ish roads

so yeah love driving but slow drivers piss me off, especially when you can't overtake ;l

longest i've driven for in one go is 4 hours

I love driving. Sometimes I just go out in the car for the sake of it.

I DONT MIND driving. Sometimes it can be enjoyable, at other times it feels like a chore. Like at the end of a long day at work the 15 minutes in the car driving home can feel genuinely painful. But when its a nice day and you're driving around with the windows down it can feel really nice.

Longest ive ever done is about 5 hours. 150 miles to north wales (ish)

It's not as exciting as it used to be. If i'm stuck in traffic it's never fun, it's just tedious. I drive at all times of the day really due to college and work. I do like driving though when it's a nice day and the windows are down, country roads, music loud, sunglasses, road tripping it somewhere. Can't wait for the summer to do that again.

Yes I like driving. I normally drive at around 7-9am and 11pm-12am. I don't drive in the city because I don't live near one. The closest is 30mins away but it's a **** hole so I don't bother. Did drive in plymouth the other day and had no idea where I was going though. Too much going on!

Do you honestly enjoy driving?
Yeah I do but I'm really bored of the road on the way to work

If you have, what took away the enjoyment?
I do enjoy it but as above. The price of petrol is horrific too and I hate it when I put like 50 quid in the tank and then for that week mam is like "GO HERE" "DROP YOUR SISTER THERE"

What conditions do you usually drive (night, early morning, rush hour, etc?)
Day & night. I don't mind either. I love during the say if the sun is beaming but I think driving at night can be relaxing and a good time to think lol

Where do you typically drive
Country roads and the national road to and from work

I don't really enjoy driving. When I first got my license I was so excited to drive, now its kinda a chore. But, I love having a car. Not too sure what I would do if I had to take a bus again.

I drive anytime throughout the day.

i wouldn't say i enjoy it but then i don't not enjoy it?
when i first passed i enjoyed it so much but since then i feel like it's more of a chore because i have to drive so much to and from places that are mainly a half an hour drive away e.g college and to see my boyfriend
i usually drive in the mornings and rush hour after college ugh and in the city center :l

On and off for me. My anxiety plays a big role in how much I can enjoy driving so from day to day it differs, but in general I quite like city driving and doing short distance runs, up to maybe an hour. Anything after an hour is boring and not really where I want to be so my favourite drives are to my football games (about half an hour, suburban roads onto A roads and back) and as one of only 3 in my friend group who actually has a car I often play taxi when we do weekends out or whatever which doesn't phase me.

As a passenger I'm much the same really, I don't like long distance travelling and the actions of certain types of drivers can put me really on edge whether I'm in control or not so I'm just waiting for someone to invent linking imps irl to solve all my problems

I personally enjoy driving. It has give me so much more freedom. The public transport in my area is horrible and after having to put up with it for 7 years, I decided enough is enough and got a car. I don't think I could ever go back to public transport again. The only thing I don't like about driving is some of the really crappy drivers who makes up their own rules for driving and in turn make the experience for everyone else worse.

Yeah I enjoy driving unless it's like my sisters being like "CAN YOU COLLECT ME PLEASE". When I'm in a car and I'm not driving I just find myself really bored

I don't mind driving although it can be really annoying when I'm at work 'cause you're literally travelling from one house to the other every 30 mins
