So I was just wondering what the hell happened to the News Department?!

Didn't images that didn't have a white surrounding need to have a black box around them?

Also why is no one proof reading the articles?

Also thesaurus is an amazing site as I found while needing to write my essays so here it goes:

The image border thing was only a guideline, never a requirement! I prefer them without anyway.

I've proofread all the articles and they're fine the way they are - we haven't had a manager for a while, same with senior. As you can see they're all quite old articles now anyway - we don't have... well any staff active really. I'm actually about to post a thread!

It's been struggling for a while now. Get staff, lose staff, get staff, lose staff. A real uphill struggle and hard to really build anything. I don't think it needs to be closed but reform, definitely. :)

Wait, why are you recruiting a 'team leader' and not a news manager.

All you said was because the department is getting radical changes. That doesn't explain why really..

Will these 'radical' changes to news come alongside v7? How comes News can change but Rare Values wasn't allowed :(.

You missed the 'quesitons' typo shown in OP :P.

Because recruiting a News Manager assumes that News is going to stay exactly how it is, this role is effectively the same but slots into our plans in the future much easier

Well, presumably like every other department that's been in Habbox it'll have a manager. If it's effectively the same why the pointless switch of name to team leader? :P

You presume incorrectly :P

sounds like a merge with another dept (probably content) and to make the switch easier, will avoid the whole "managers trying to assert their territory" as happened the last time. It's a good idea really.

So for what reason are you changing the 'manager' - which every other department on habbox uses - to team leader?

Is inseriousity. right

Team Leader makes sense to me, as it seems the gm team already have plans set out for the department to change.

I'm not releasing the plans until they're finalised!

Whenever this type of thing is a reply, it means you're confirming the merge ;)?

I confirm or deny nothing. ;)

Nah it just means that until we're ready to go and everything's been sorted, I don't want to be facing backlash and every man and his aunt's dog throwing their opinion into the ring

No they're not

No it means they're not 100% comfortable with what they're about to do and don't want their fears to be confirmed by no-one agreeing with the proposals before they're put in place :P

Fine and perfect are different things. Noones noticed before now so I don't think it matters too much! I do proof read everything, maybe not as indepth as I'd like but I can't do everything!

As much as I love your cynicism, I'm not afraid of what people will say: whatever we do it gets criticized anyway! I'm perfectly comfortable with the plans, the only thing I'm even slightly worried about is the staff force!

Doesn't matter that you publish badly-written articles with spelling mistakes and poor syntax... no wonder News has been so bad for so long. Also it was noted and spoken about extensively in the last thread about News (http://www.habboxforum.com/showthread.php?t=792415) and several times before that when you and Sam were busy running it into the ground in the first place by ignoring everyone's concerns and/or suggestions.

I don't know what it means, I was only joking :P. But in a lot of cases when you get replies like that, it means what the other person has said is somewhat true! Doesn't mean it is in this case xD.

I do think this will be a good idea I mean they can always try it and see how it goes. I can't be worse then what it is now. I am positive this will be good for the news team.
