How kind and non-discriminatory they are, going out of their way to look for someone who can't do the job to the highest standard

If you click the link in the first post, there's 5 continuity announcers with speech disabilities, not all of them have tourettes :)

I thought there was someone hacking into thereof broadcast after hearing the words "biscuit" and "hedgehog" repeatedly during the intro of the programmes! Decided to type "woman keeps saying buiscuit" in on Google and there I found she has tourettes😂 funny but feel sorry for her at the same time

Well at least the words she says aren't bad

I remember watching an episode of the undatebles and when he got with his first date he goes "fhaaaat *REMOVED*" and she was quite visibly obese lmao

But I don't like it when shows do this, they're not doing this because they believe in not discriminating, they're just doing it so people will think they do

hopefully it was just a one off so they don't crush her dreams

I think that in theory it's really good they are doing this, but to be honest I just could not follow what she was saying, I'm guessing it was something about planes because of the images, but I only remember ''biscuit''. If I was a brand that sold biscuits I would totally sponsor Channel 4 because after hearing that if I saw a biscuit commercial, that would be the best form of a not so subliminal message.

You could support people with speech disabilities in a lot of different ways other than this. It's ridiculous.

Why is this ridiculous? It's alright to let them have a go at something they usually wouldn't be considered for. It's not as if they're becoming permanent members to the team.

Channel 4 have done quite a lot of things like this in the past. I find them and interesting tbh. :P
