I just logged on this morning (now) and noticed the Happy Hour Announcement at the top for 9pm BST.
Google tells me it is 2am BST. Is the Happy Hour coming up later today/tomorrow for me or has it already passed?
There is no date in the top bar announcement that's all a bit confusing for me in Australia :S
THANKS!

And I can't see anything in announcements so I assume it's coming up in 18 hours :D
Just checking because I like happy hour
You missed it but there will be more in the future :)

It's meant to be a spur of the moment type of thing not a 2 weeks advanced notice so everyone can get ready...

Notice is gone now. I'm sure Phil will do more of these in the future and perhaps do 2 in one day as has been done in the past for other time zones.
Yeah tbh it was just a spur of the moment thing and I do hope to have them more often and there will be more than one per day.

Spur of the moment is fine if it suits your timezone. I wasn't asking for 2 weeks notice. 24 hours would be sufficient. Thanks for your great contribution

Defeats the purpose having a spur of the moment thing if you're going to give 24 hour notice........................
They're meant to randomly appear, not give you a day to make up some threads to get ready to post or replies to others so killing some activity as people are waiting to get double points..
24 hour notice would be stupid.
2 a day is acceptable (I assume it would be like 10gmt then 4gmt or something like that Phil; )

Yeah something like that if I wake up in time ;)
@Everyone; So you would rather spur of the moment or scheduled ones

Spur of the moment obviously
Scheduled ones are always going to make people wait to post in threads they'd normally instantly reply to which is just going to negatively effect activity on the day that it's been scheduled.

Definitely spur of the moment.
Activity will drop before and after the designated time if scheduled.

I agree with Jen, spur of the moment is much better.

Yeah just do spur of the moment for UK suitable times. Idk why I bothered raising the issue
In the future I'll be doing random days. I might know when they are but nobody else will. On the days I do them in the future, I'll do two and hopefully most if not all of the members.

the fact is that there is zero point doing a 'spur of the moment' happy hour when there's only 1-2 people online as it won't be nearly as successful and you wouldn't have had many threads to actually post in.
