Before people say "well that was 30 years ago" it's still fair game for judging someone's character and trustfulness.

The Master or Dean was interviewed a while back and said he had no concerns about Farage and said something along the lines that the teacher who made this complaint was pretty far left and had a vendetta against him. This really is scraping the barrel, Farage was a well known Thatcherite at the time, hardly a Nazi. :P Here's an interview with the former Deputy Master -

"A reflection on the staff rather than him" says the Deputy Head, and Farage was appointed Prefect in the end anyway.
The staff who had an issue with him were the same far-left staff who wanted to abolish Poppy Day and the student Conservative Association.

How many times are C4 going to recycle this story? And why is this election campaign only revolving around 30yr personality gossip rather than policy?
Reporter: "Iz u razyzt bruv?"
NF: No, I'm not
Reporter: "Iz u sure? U soundz razyzt"
NF: Nope.
Reporter: "Oh go on, please?"
NF: Nope.
etc.
Why are there so many interviews and interviewers like this. None of these idiots seem interested in UKIP policy at all, but they love accusing him of racism, fascism and every other -ism under the sun.
I reckon you saw the poll below from last night, and thought you'd better drag a slur up on HxF that was discussed months ago.

It's rather interesting that Farage thinks marching down a village singing nazi hymns is just having a bit of fun and winding somebody up.

So it was claimed by far-left teachers who had a vendetta against him.
You heard the Deputy Head, he dismissed these slurs by teachers who didn't like Farage and appointed him Prefect. And he was proved right.

I should imagine that if these claims weren't true, Farage would have quickly set the record straight when asked about it rather than merely brushing it off as child's play.

He did.
If you watch the video, he denies the Nazi chanting slur. He does admit however that he used to wind people up by playing Devil's Advocate.
Personally if I had far-left teachers who wanted to ban the Conservative Association & Poppy Day, i'd wind them up too. :P tbh I actually did.

He doesn't deny doing it, he just says he doesn't know the words and then quickly laughs it off.

If you don't know the words to a song then how can you possibly sing it?
