Major Event Suggestion?

Hey Guys!
I think Habbox should hold a country music festival, I think it would be a fun and exciting way for people to
experience country music, as well as do some creative events.

I was thinking, Country themed rooms and events? So horses, farms, Hay etc. DJ's play country music for the
duration of the festival (24 hours?). I personally would happily help fund rooms as well as create some of my
own and I'm sure many others will try as well. Perhaps even the best country themed room/house competition
as well? Your imagination is the limit! So any opinions on my idea? Leave a comment :D

I'd like something like this.

You could even create a music-genre festival.
24 hours per genre, so country, rock, r&b, etc. would have themed rooms for each day. :}

This is a good idea and doesn't have to be restricted to just country music. There are a lot of music genres that aren't as popular around habbox as they might be elsewhere and it's certainly worth promoting them and opening the users up to something unfamiliar for once. Allows for collaboration between all departments, some community interaction (room building, new types of events, themed comps, etc) so will be good fun for all.

Building on this, I'd also like to suggest that habboxlive add to their 'song of the week' by having some sort of format that allows DJs and listeners to vote on a select genre each week/month and pget tiring hearing chart music all the time from certain DJs so this could perhaps be an opportunity for them to expand thelay one or two songs from that genre in each show. It does ir song pool and open themselves up to a new kind of listener. also - talkshows pls. proper ones though, with people that can actually hold a conversation.

There's often a separate early summer habbox event so this would be a neat candidate for it. Kind of fits as well since Jin is like Mr Festival.

I think a 'Music Festival' event would be cool.
But prime time would be during HxSS.

And I don't know if we could string it out for a major event... Pod Racing would just be Pod Racing with a bit of hay in it...

i know before someone was saying they like the idea of having the themed weekly showsi dk where it was some previous thread so would def be interesting to do something like that

as for the song of the week i'll have to ask james because i tried changing that last week and mygod it confusedm e
if i didnt have to keep editing my tumblr page all that stuff would make no sense to me ;P talkshows are coming back def we found 2 talkative djs so they should be bring one back not to worryyy haha the only other one is call in really but when i do it everyone is shyy and doesnt want to speak ;l calum was alright when he came on like he actually spoke about something (cheers Calum0812;) but jazz keep ditching me and leaving me hanging when it comes to it lmao so i'll message her like HEY JAZZ YOU READY and wont get a reply til 9pm saying hi im out sorry x ;) Jazz; but yeh def getting a chatshow coming back and we have a few other things planned
i like the idea of the whole festival thing though as long as you think people will enjoy it and whatever then should be fabb (im not really the one to judge if people will enjoy it or whatever as i'll think just putting down a few moving ducks is fab for everyone so uno)
