yeh and he is in the place of the rook so can only go in straight lines but hes sitting backwards wic means that even if u do ur homework u will not get ahead u will only go backwards from here so leave school cos it's pointless. also there are 4 rooks on every chess board so it mans the boy has disassociative identity disorder and 1 of his other identity is that of a deity that he uses 2 beg attention on an online forum

Just trying to create some discussion.

Anyways I believe it represents the game of life. That we are all pawns in society, and that we don't see our invisible cages (like below the kid) in our life. That the education system is really just preparing us to be smart enough to work the machines, but dumb enough not to question it.
