Hi everyone. I'm new to this forum and I'm glad I discovered it!
I recently came back being active on Habbo again after years of being gone from it..
Back then, they required a username to log in but now it's your email address which I can't remember what I used8 years ago, lol. And I tried to contact them about it but they said you have to prove yourself and blah blah..But I got over it and decided to make a new account and get stuck looking at my old account =/

Anyways, the real question is I'm having problems with buying credit..or buying anything with a credit/debit card. Everytime I click the method it directs me to a page that tells me that the payment failed yet I haven't typed in any information about my card? How can that be? Is it because my account is brand new that there is a required amount of days you have to be registered? Im stuck..

I'd appreciate any help guys.
Thank you !

Hi mischievousxxx;, there isn't a certain period you have to have been playing to buy credits as far as I know so this does seem a little bit odd.

What country are you in?
What payment method and credit bundle are you trying to buy?
What is the exact message and page that it's coming up on?

Hello Kyle, thank you so much for replying.

I live in the US and I'm using the Debit/Credit Card method.
I'm trying to get the 1 Month HC Club for $2.99
As far as the message goes, it says Payment Failed..please try again later.
and I know I have the sufficient funds so it's confusing >.<

If you hadn't logged into your account for such a long time it probably went with the merge? Or did you log in with that account post- merge?

Have you any an alternative way of paying of your card doesn't work. Seems odd that it doesn't but as mentioned above maybe they want you to complete some of the achievements first before buying credits - which is odd

But he managed to log in? Which means the account was merged :P

Make sure you're on the US credits page, if you are, just keep trying, I've had the error before when buying a room bundle :)

I had a similar problem a while a go when I bought creds with my left over phone credit and the payment failed but then went through a week later lmao. I've contacted habbo and the people Habbo use as their supplier or whatever and neither of them can help me. They charged me and I got voucher codes but the codes don't work. I bought them at the start of May and i've still not received them :P Hope you sort your issue out and you aren't the only one having troubles at the moment :P

You may have been trying to purchase credits shortly after Habbo had a maintenance break, this could be caused by the payment server not fully connecting with Habbo itself when you tried to purchase them.
On the other hand, you may need to try and check if you have significant funds within your bank however, as you said you get this message before you even attempt which could be due to Habbo not recognizing a new request therefore you may just need to reload your cache! (Do this buy clicking your URL and holding CTRL + F5)

Other than this, I'm really unsure on what the other problem could be, you may also be able to over come this buy going to your local store that sells Habbo Pre-Paid cards and using them and inputting the voucher code that was activated within the store upon purchase.
