What do you think is the most significant event in the history of the human race?

Maybe not the human race, but I think 9/11 has had a massive impact on our lives.
maybe the first time a bunch of humans got together and decided to play civilisations

Oooh that is a hard one.
To me the most important things which have formed the modern world are the Magna Carta, Bill of Rights and European (mainly British) exploration of the world and the following colonial era. The world today that we know is largely built on those historical events.
But of course you can name a lot of things. Most civilisations and/or Empires have contributed hugely important things.
the day that god created the universe
or whenever that guy invented the wheel, that's pretty cool.
