Just wondering how this forum was working nowadays.
If the Top Contributor still being done? What about the Debater of the Month? And rep for ''creating debate topics that generate a lot of buzz and engaging discussion''?
And how long do official debates usually stay open, or is it until people stop answering?

New debates are done around every month and it's usually three or four. The older ones are then closed. If there's a topic that is really popular and is still going however, i'll usually let it run for another month... there was one earlier this year that was open for two or three months I think.
Sometimes, depending on the quality of the debate, reputation/tokens/VIP will be handed out. I have repped in the past too for good replies.
We're due new debates now actually, if you have any ideas then post in the suggestions thread. :)

What about the forum awards, are they still in place?

I came to the assumption that awards are no longer being used, as the Easter VIP (http://www.habboxforum.com/awards.php?do=viewaward&award_id=152) one wasn't issued and the whole achievements thing was released around that time. But maybe they are :P.

Debates awards have been issued by me in the past, yes. Whether or not it still applies with achievements (as Luke says) I am not sure. :P
