my laptop charger has kicked the bucket, macbook pro 13 inch (lol i have a macbook pro everyone just making this thread tbh to tell you all that :) )

chargers around here are like 80 euro, does anybody know a website i can get a legit apple charge for cheap, preferably shipped from the uk or ireland?

i looked on amazon but all the ones that say they're genuine apple have reviews saying they're faulty and not actually real

Prob cheaper to get a real laptop than carry on with Apple's "you need everything we've ever made for any of it to work" deal

or ebay

can you not take it back to the apple shop and get a new one?

Genuine Apple will be expensive. It's the Apple tax.

I imagine if you look for non-genuine then you'll find some well made power supplies for cheaper.

When mine died I took it back to the Apple store and they gave me a new one.

i'm not sure because it's the end bit that the rubber came off and the wires fried, i'm over my warranty and we don't have an apple shop here just a compu b, i bought it online

@Jack! (http://www.habboxforum.com/member.php?u=41680); were you still under warranty?
@Chippiewill (http://www.habboxforum.com/member.php?u=40007); any chance you know of a trusted website? i just don't wanna fry my laptop

Nope. I wouldn't worry too much about frying your laptop, it's far more likely that the charger would just break and you'd get a refund.

Isn't there an apple shop just before Grafton street, beside trinity?

There are genuine ones on eBay for £40 new. But Apple are rip-off merchants as everybody knows so I doubt you'll get an official one cheaper...

I have a Mac btw, I'm not a Windows fanboy or owt.

Bit late but yes I was still under warranty, they said it was strain on the charger, and on the reasons list when is saw them do it they blamed the customer (Me) but I got a new free one so meh.
