A new show coming to ABC written by in my opinion, one of the best writers for television at the minute. Shonda Rhimes who created both Scandal and Greys Anatomy and now this, which looks amazing!! Excited.

ADVANCED SYNOPSIS THING

It's the campus bonfire night, and while everyone is busy with the festivities, in the woods, four students are fighting what to do with the "body". When they can't agree on the same thing, they decide to do a coin toss to make a decision. The episode then flashes back to four months earlier .

It's the first day of classes at Middleton Law School. As the class settles down, professor of Criminal Law 100, Annalise Keating, announces to the class they will be helping her with a real case. She says that she will be picking 4 students to work in her firm one of which well get the trophy which will exempt them from any of her exams when handed in. This ensue a battle among the students in an attempt to outperform one another.

The scenes flashback and forward throughout the episode to show us the ongoings of the night of the murder and the case the students are helping with. The identity of the person who is killed, which is revealed later in the episode, left me surprised as it was not who I was expecting. Also featured throughout the episode is the investigation of a missing student Lila Stangard.

The shows is scandalous, sexy and salacious as can be seen in the pilot. Viola Davis proves to be an excellent lead for the series and the supporting characters are also fairly interesting. Not much is revealed about the characters in the pilot, but I am sure that will be seen as the show progresses. The shows has all the markings of a potential hit for ABC.

Just watched the season finale... amazing! Can't wait for the show to pick up again. I'm glad we finally got to see exactly what happened on the night of Sam's murder... but there are still so many unanswered questions.

that episode omg!!!!

i love hannah keating, i hope she doesn't go anywhere any time soon. marcia gay harden is doing a fantastic job, i bet annalise's mother will come put her in her place though. really impressed with bonnie as well for putting it all together, now it's just asher who doesn't know out of the keating five and frank & bonnie. excited for next weeks, glad we found where the statue thing was and i wonder now about michaela's ring. love how she's slowly unraveling, she seemed a bit manic at the end when connor, wes, laurel, rebecca and her all realised annalise is actually protecting them.

can't believe annalise has helped frame nate though :O bet it'll come back to bite her in the ass. she's so cutthroat i love it, viola's execution of her in the court scene was phenomenal. looking forward to next week and of course, annalise's mother arriving which i think she has been cast previously but her role was listed as unknown. if anyone wants to see her actress lemme know i'll try find out

yeah something definitely is up with her, enjoy her being around though and love how she figured out that it was the keating 5 (minus asher) who killed sam, she seems weirdly attached to both sam and annalise so it wouldn't surprise me

This show I find literally impossible to predict. Appaz there was a lot of versions wrote up and the ending is now a lot different from the original pitch. The Rudy thing is interesting, maybe he was in the tank with lila and his scratches have something to do with the horror of that night. I think he will be central to the lila murder. I like the theory of wes being Annalise's son. Also have you seen people speculating about Conor's death? Better not be true!!!

Lmao also forgot to say the viola davis and cicely tyson scenes were some of the best all season! Mama is so sassy and fab. Her quotes had me in stitches. Them two are amazing together.

Spoiler/2 lines describing where S1 left off:
Rebecca is dead and the students are reeling. So far though, only Annalise and Frank know that Rebecca was murdered and they are trying to figure out who did it. Meantime, she takes on a new client as an old friend teaches Annalise a valuable lesson.

I did too! There's something not right between them and they definitely have something to hide. When Annalise went into the court room that those two were in, I assumed they were dating or were lawyer and client, then they touch hands and I was like oh what. They look nothing alike so could easily get away with it haha. And I can see Annalise making a move on Wes in later episodes and am surprised nothing has already happened between them.

yes yes yes at annalise and eve i love them and famke is such a great actress, hope we see some more of her in this season. i love connors storyline with oliver this season and it's v heartbreaking to watch as it unfolds, the student i care least about right now is probably wes he hasn't got a lot goint on for him right now which i assume will change. michaela and her new beau levi who knows rebecca some how ahhhh shit that won't end well, and i'm glad that woman (sinclair?) who went up against annalise is dead in the flashforwards she deserves it. wonder who shot annalise though and can't believe they are just leaving annalise to die, are these people just always going to get away with murder??? lmfao i love it

I missed the last episode of S1 without realising and started watching S2, I was like what's going on! And yes, it's 3/4 weeks into season two now.

Just watched episode 5.. omg seriously I swear I am missing shit here. In the recap there is a bit with Bonnie confessing to Asher, I don't remember seeing this in any of the previous episodes!!

Best ep ever!!!!!!!!!!!!! I was screaming and we have a painter in and he was probably thinking wtf is this girl at lmao. It was so tense and exciting!!! So my prediction that annalise wanted to be shot was half true hehe. So glad we got that element of betrayal. The wes flashbacks omg it's gonna be so good. Hopefully wes becomes more likeable cause he hasn't been at all this season! Give me back my puppy. Omg asher is finally in the murder club. Loved his scene in the car after talking with his mum!! Bravoooo

i really love laurel, her new dynamic with annalise is interesting but can annalise stop lying and manipulating all of them? she's constantly playing mind games and is always shocking them ffs. let them be prepared for ur ideas girl. sympathised with her a bit for the hallucinations and i sort of guessed it would have been wes' mother and him as a baby/or her baby seeing as she was PREGNANT in the flashbacks?????? wonder what it meaNs because i don't think she's wes' baby mama anymore however she's clearly done something to be so involved in orchestrating his life / getting to middleton and being her student.

laurel is yet again amazing in the new ep! she is my fave, though with her finding out about frank i'm hoping she doesn't become like quinn from scandal. absolutely loved the scenes of them standing up to annalise, about time!!! the car scene and that scene were so good, also bless at young bonnie, she looks so different with her longer hair and much older with it shorter. great ep!!! also the woman playing the victims mum sobs my heart broke for her

i think christophe and wes could be two different people? dunno for sure but there's so many possibilities ahh

i can't believe christophe/wes killed his mother for telling him to go to bed! :O lmfao jk but i really REALLY enjoyed that episode. i honestly believe frank could have killed the mother, he's a hitman and it'd some how link laurel and finding out about who actually murdered lila to the whole case. it is such an amazing series and the ending was a great cliffhanger, whether or not he did it i don't know, i hope he never though because that'll make me sad. baba christophe/wes is sooo cute. also loved the laurel & wes kiss, i can ship this for sure!!!
