Over the past ten years or so there have been many changes to this site and that of Habbo. We will either have approved/disapproved of the change, or even felt indifferent. Habbox like Habbo has never changed its name, come to think of it, neither have I?

Many of you will know that the Habbox site was created by Mizki, and that the name chosen was quite appropriate considering the name of the game.

Now I expect you are all thinking I am going to suggest a competition to rename Habbox, but you’re all wrong..... I just wouldn’t do that!

Imagine for one moment Sulake decided to change the name of the character that we all fondly know as a ‘Habbo’. Your challenge should you choose to take it, is to rename the character, what would you rename it to? Tell us why, and if you want to go into detail great, it may just help when selecting a winner.

A mix between Habbo and Avatars to show that the 'Habbo' name is still in there but also the fact they're just avatars and that not everyone is who they say they are and they can base their personality purely on an avatar.

Elabor because it is a latin word for escape and you are able to escape from the real world when playing, creating your own virtual life with new friends and the chance to design and create rooms which you can escape to. Also, Elabor Hotel sounds really good and reminds me of the word elaborate, which you can be inside the hotel. As well as these reasons, I think that Elabor has a ring to it and is a classy upgrade to Habbo :)

Pixel Hangout i'd name it pixel hangout as you're a pixel after all

I like to hang out on habbo with other indivuals like yourselves in techincal terms we're all called (Pixels) i come on habbo to hangout with friends i've met on habbo so to name it pixel hangout just sums up what i do with Habbo :)
