Camera returning

Not heard anything about it returning. Although with them contemplating removing 'bobba' altogether and stuff like that, It could well be coming back.

It's been an ongoing discussion, there's been many rumours including that it will be brought back as part of Stories. I hope it does, and I also hope they bring back trax!

Because hardly anybody knows they exist and how to make/join them. A minority of groups have forums.

well if theyre bringing cameras back then its likely that theyre going to fix the pictures

not sure what else they could do with cameras to get all the negative feedback in here. they already have cameras on fixed backgrounds for selfies so obviously if this comes to fruition it'll be done in rooms. sure stories could be getting involved but whats the problem there? being able to share your pictures on stories is a great idea and really opens up the hotel to lots of competition opportunities.

i never used cameras because film was so expensive to me, but now that there are plenty of credits on the hotel i think more people will be inclined to use them and i think this will be really neat to have back.

Not necessarily. The old pictures were the reason cameras were removed, because of how easy they were to manipulate and script.

Plus this is Habbo, why would they go through extra effort for us? ;)

It's being released testing stages began earlier, no point hiding it since everybody already knows. Just may as well create hype for it now get everybody ready for the release of taking images again.

I don't like the look of it at all. I hope there is still a major overhaul from that. I prefer the Polaroid style, no zoom and cute print from the old days

They think the camera will be free but the film will cost but that could change before release (and IMO it should cost to buy the camera!!) Testing has began on .com (unsure if other hotels are testing too) and will be updated every so often by the team.


Film: You won't buy it as a package you buy the images after taking the shot, this may change. I think the prices will be around 1coin for a medium image (basic size?)

Some stories members were asked, and some random people have it (not sure if they were members or not) but randomly got it. Not really much yet except the function of snapping an image, doesn't save and can't print it. Not much of a loss.

i guess the old coding which made the pictures showed up wont be compatible and therefore they may have lost those images etc?

who knows, but a new camera would be great.

They may have the old image data but it had some post-processing applied so it almost certainly won't be compatible.

Old camera files probably gone, just like all logs before the merge were like bans and articles etc.
