SpaceX will be attempting to launch one of their Falcon 9 rockets with the Orbcomm OG2 satellite payload at 23:08 BST tonight (2208 UTC+0000).

You can view the livestream here:

There will be a pre-launch show starting approximately half an hour before the launch (Around now). This will also hopefully be the second successful propulsive over-water landing on the first-stage and the first good recording of it too. You can view the recording of the previous propulsive landing, which is being improved by NSF members, here:

In other SpaceX news, the Dragon 2 capsule was unveiled recently also:

Launch has been placed on hold at T-00:15:07

Launch clock has been pushed back to T-01:05:00 - 00:02 BST

There is concern of leaking (This has been a frequent issue in the past, with valves on tanks failing).

Got the livestream ready... Elon Musk is such a legend. Did you see the post the other day where Elon said that SpaceX would put a man on mars before NASA? 2026 as opposed to 2035 for NASA.

Elon Musk is a great guy, the reason why SpaceX is such a respectable company is they're not in it for the profit. Elon just wants to move to mars and he's leveraging his cash and expertise to achieve it. He also released a lot of the patents the other day which Tesla have because he wants the electric car industry to innovate rather than to just make money.

The concern in the launch delay is due to a leak either on the rocket or ground facilities. It's honestly looking doubtful they'll resolve it in time, but they have launch windows tomorrow and I imagine in the near future too.

Yeh, I agree. It's amazing what he's done and all the success he has had. From Paypal to SpaceX to Tesla, definitely one of the greatest living people.

Hopefully they'll resolve the issue before tomorrow, however given the history of these LOX tanks I suspect it'll take longer. iirc the initial static fire abort for this launch over a month ago was due to a LOX tank leak too.
