The best thing for me had always been the trading and making a profit.

Partly what got me interested in Economics tbh.

My favourite part was the forums, full of trolls but I used to love the group I was part of and the battle for activity to reach top groups. :P

Chatting and hanging out with a bunch of friends. Not to mention, trading and making profit also.

I used to love the Harry Potter/Hogwarts RPs.

Spent like 5/6 years doing them. Otherwise now I just like the fansites.

There were some good agencies back in the old Habbo and I'd say hosting is also a highlight :)

Mostly gaming with friends. I liked snowstorm and battleball but i was almost always in the (guest room) games category on the hotel navigator. The same thing to this day :P

I had many memories that was goood around 2006 - 2008 but the top 2 of the list is when i won my first habbo comp a couple of weeks ago when i had the pokemon rooms. such fun!

Also when i had around 120c on me annd bought around 5 directors chairs for 30c per. i noticed that the prices was rapidly changing in the MP so i managed to get 250c back. a nice 130c profit =^.^=

All of the RPs. I used to play/ruin Pokemon, Star Wars and Harry Potter ones. I actually met a good friend through a Harry Potter RP and now we're friends in real life.

Likewise with hospitals/police forces. Armies/mafias just aren't the same. :(

and of course creating forename-surname accounts just to troll the people who did that. I was always either an alcoholic homeless person or a racist old woman. Classic.

The games, everyone piling up to hang in the battleball room, the hallways, the den. The diving that you could watch someone else do or yourself do. at lido. The past was good. :)

Not to mention, some people were less hostile back in the days.

i loved taking part in the wired mazes everyone used to make, and also the ability to just walk into a room and just everyone be so nice to you! and welcome you with open arms, however i do miss the old layout that habbo had.

When I first joined Habbo way back when, what got me hooked in the first place was the fact that wherever you went, be it the Main Lobby or Eric's Eaterie, or a public room, there was always so much going on, so you were never stuck for things to do. Unfortunately that isn't the case nowadays.

I definitely think Habbo has changed for the worse. I love the sense of community habbo used to have. I loved hanging in the rooftop cafe with friends, the hallways, that garden area bit, theatredome. Theatredome queues when there was the sugababes on habbo haha, infobus, habbo guides, wobble squabble, the old habbo layout, argh I miss it all

I really miss the old mazes there used to be. A bunch of HC sofas with the squares beneath them concealed by desks and vases. Sticky notes telling you to "click on the top right corner of the yellow pillow". Tell noobs who were stuck to use Ctrl+F5 to skip to the next level xP

Ahh trip down nostaglia lane. Top 3 for me:

- Profiting on trades before marketplace (when HC sofas were the bees knees)
- Running a highly popular trade room
- Hanging out with friends in the Theatredome (when it was the thing to do)

Oh man do I miss good old habbo...

Battleball and snowstorm.

But they're gone now obviously, all we've got is two crappy remakes; battle banzai and freeze. :'(

God, those RPs were great. There is nothing better than large groups of teenagers sitting at their computers, pretending to bePokemon. One of my fondest Habbo memories is, back when before agencies got their crap together, I would create a locked room on an alt called like "Golden Dragon Army" or something. I would go on my main, dress in a suit and tie and change mymotto to something like "[GDA] Executive Cabinet" and go in and transfer into the bigger agencies. I was usually found out pretty quick, but it was a great way to spend the afternoon.

Now, I wasn't a player before my tour of duty, but I was astonished by the tightness and high spirit of the community, even in the 2011/2012, when things had already started to go a bit sour by many accounts. I just wish I would've been there in the golden years.

It's been almost two years since I left the company, but I still miss my time with you guys. I don't think I'll ever find another job like that. :)

The best thing/was of Habbo, that I can remember was the sheer imagination used when I played Habbo, like finding cafes that wasn't run by wired and imagining if we could make it a success and when we did how cool it was promoting different staff members and becoming close to all the employees

not forgetting the flooders of course that made it fun when you had to keep kicking them

*+*habbo*+* as you are starting off with no interest in furni just talking to people and having fun until you find out about games; then you start with your first fallin furni game, collecting the winnings up and making a furni shop until you could upgrade to a rare+norm shop; following that up with your brand new *RARE* shop in hopes of becoming a *SUPER RARE SHOP ONLY* *NO NOOBS* shop at the top of the list; though most people get distracted from their shop business and head towards hosting their own rooms and games; casinos, mazes, paintball, kiss or diss, dating rooms, theme rooms etc.. this dream is normally halted multiple times by relationships in the game, those special habbos you meet that ask 2 be ur gf or bf hehe, or maybe on the day after you have just downloaded a furni duplication program with a dice rigger installed as well.. the day everyone wishes would never come, the day your hand is empty and your purse just contains flies - you've been hacked and you tell everyone you are going to quit - but like everyone else, you return in a few weeks and state that your "brother" lent you some furni to help you get started, when in all honesty you probably tricked some other habbo in to giving you their password or you begged your parents to buy some overpriced coins via sms.. blah blah blah i'm bored of typing now but I love habbo and every part of it has been interesting, fun or a life lesson and it's a shame it's gone downhill slowly over time!

When I first started I guess, back when I was 12, 11 years ago. My circle of IRL friends already played and we couldn't wait to finish school to go and play. Our parents used to buy us 10c a week and it was massive for us, making our own 'Mafia' and trying to recruit, then making boring rubbish casinos in order to become rich. We once also made a room something like the job center (irl) where people would come in, tell us what they're into and we'd find them a room where they could get a job.
