it hasn't been updated since mid 2012!

1. Google Chrome - doesn't load youtube videos for me (however I use google chrome for habbo, safari for everything else)
2. Internet Explorer - just sucks, we all know that
3. Firefox - I used to use it but it got really slow on my old laptop, maybe not now.
4. Opera - I used to use it, but I just don't anymore. No specific reason.
5. Anything else - I don't know

Safari is extremely much faster on my computer than any other browser and is very easy to use.

oh and Intersocial; in reply to your post yesterday on some other random thread i can't be bothered finding, i never replied to you: why would people hate on you for using opera? it's not a bad browser

It uses less battery than the other browsers do on macs according to some people.

Anything to prove that?

I doubt it's true (unless other browsers are using a lot of resources on ios)

I've noticed it myself personally and I believe its due to Firefox and Chrome using more resources than Safari does on Mac (not iOS by the way) - It seems to be the case for other people as well. I'm a Firefox and Chrome user on Windows though.

Oh really :O I didn't know that. I wouldn't notice it myself because I pretty much use my laptop plugged in all the time.

Chrome is my go to on Windows purely because I use multiple devices and the thought of keeping bookmarks/history across all devices is really helpful And I haven't had any compatibility issues thus far.

I use Safari occasionally on my windows, but I tend to stick to chrome most of the time.

There's nothing wrong with IE.

Chrome came out in 2008, that's 6 years ago. Hardly new.

Still. They have 6 years experience. Crap to that! I have used Chrome and it's a flaky pastry mess.

I've started using Safari on the Yosemite Beta.. its a lot better then it is on Mountain Lion, seems to use a lot less battery then Chrome too.

Windows explorer is classic on windows systems so i am guessing that may be the reason? i prefer firefox though as i think its way easier and better. but everyones preferences are different.
