So recently I found white stuff on my teeeth :S. I always dreamt that I might get one some day or will last till I am 40 but I am nearly 21 :( I am also wanting to change dentists aswell as the people in the one I am register are not so nice.
I also cannot afforf it so I willl be getting a certificate maybe in a weeks time :(.

By then it could decay and I am worried about it as i have always wanted to keep my teeth in decent condition. Unfortunately I had respary problems so yh i do not want to go in to detail as it is grim :D.

What was your first fillling like and what can I expect?
I also might try doing it awake but they probably will not allow it but we will see.
When it comes to drills been sunk into me it does not sound as horrible as being put to sleep and feeling dizzy afterwards.

I also hate it as if the filling breaks at some point as they usually do then thats more money down the sink hole.
If TY MOSS CAN DO IT SO CAN I!

(Ty Moss is an awesome youtuber so please watch his vlogs ^.^).

um i got 4 when i was around 8 years old into my back teeth
all i remember is it being quite cold but not uncomfortable. after a week or so u forget u have them, i even forgot till this thread.
my fillings are white so u can't see them thankfully but i think white fillings are mostly only for the back teeth apparently? so yea~ anyway was just another day for me from what i remember, think was uncomfortable to eat some food but other than that no probs. maybe cause the dentist doesn't bother me.

i do know someone whose fell out after eating a chewy bar lol dunno if she got it redone tho

I just got my third one a few days ago. They don't put you to sleep or anything for it and it's relatively painless. The only thing I don't enjoy is the needles going into your gum :( but after that you feel nothing and your dentist checks with you if you do and gives you more injections haha (it happened with my second one a month back) After getting my second one my mouth was really droopy and it looked like I'd had a stroke :( but the last one took like ten minutes and was all over. I have two white ones and a grey ugly one. They do feel extremely weird afterward but you do get used to it, I'm still getting used to my latest one and the one before that as it still hurts now (worried I might need a root canal :()

I have none so I don't really know about them but my brother is 13 and he has 8 lmao. His first one made him nervous because he didn't know what to expect but I don't think they're that bad.

Don't overthink it too much, you'll be fine!

I was put to sleep for mine as I was young and had to have a root canal. They gave me 3 extra somewhat unnecessary fillings which cause me issues to this day, and the tooth with the root canal had to be pulled as they broke it when they done it.

I'd recommend staying awake, the things they use to numb you are there for a reason. :)

never had a filling but i had to have 4 teeth removed for my braces

after they did the injection for the first one i cried so much! it was the worst pain ever and refused to have the other 3 done so a few weeks later i went to some place where they put me to sleep and did the other 3 in just 10 minutes!

I had a filling when I was young and it really wasnt that bad and I dont even like the dentist! They did a numbing thing first, the worst part was the noises tbh

I had to have my baby tooth pulled as my adult tooth was growing over it - it was my second time going to them about it as they wouldn't pull it the first time!! (now I have a wonky tooth :'() I remember squirming so bad and the teeth are so long!

They are always very reluctant to put you to sleep just for a filling, especially if you have breathing problems as there's always a tiny chance you won't wake up so it's not worth taking the risk for a filling.

I've had one filling and it was in a molar, but I got it removed this time two years ago so I guess I don't have any fillings now. I really don't like the needle part. The pain isn't bad, but my dentist made me keep my eyes open (so he knew I hadn't fainted, apparently :S) and all I could see was this big needle in front of my face!! :(
Other than that, the noises make me squirm because it's just so horrible but it's not painful I think.

I have 11 fillings I think haha

Expect a needle if you're having a tooth-filled.

Or if you don't like needles (like me) some dentists will do it without (like mine). It hits loads of nerves and is quite painful but in 11 fillings I've never had a needle. I had a needle at the dentist once though as I had to have one of my baby teeth removed.

I have too many fillings to count, and too many extractions to match.

I prefer having a tooth pulled out as opposed to being filled, but from experience now, I'd probably prefer one filled.

When I go to the dentist, if she says I need a filling though I know it's going to be a lot cheaper than adding another tooth onto my palette.

I didn't mind the needles, then I did and cried every time, I then realised that after that I don't have anything to worry about.

I've been having root canal treatment on 2 teeth for the past 4 weeks and it doesn't hurt, nor will a filling

you might die though

since yesturday i haave some serious case of nervousness if that's even a word. so i literally: clean teeth, mouth wash, eat, gum, clean my teeth, have salty water, eat again, have vitamin d3 tablets, drink water and have straws with drinks even with tea! so ya i hope i dont get one and hope if i have something rotting then hopefully it wont reach my tooth and that my enamel can heal!

I take health very seriously when it comes to my teeth. :S
