Britney Spears' 'Alien' Without Auto-Tune Is Not Meant To Be Heard

This might not be the first time we've heard a Britney Spears track without any Auto-Tune enhancement, but it doesn't mean it makes us cringe any less this time around.

On July 2, the unedited vocal version of Spears' track "Alien," off of her most recent album, "Britney Jean," leaked. As the video picked up steam, track producer William Orbit posted a statement Monday, July 7, explaining that the track is a vocal warm-up session, not Spears' final take.

ok finally actually hard it so i know what we're talking about. the CNN news pretty much summed it up for me. you wouldn't believe the amount of singers that are actually worse than that clip that's been leaked, the difference is theirs hasn't been leaked so there isn't a big deal bout them. think it's always been obvious that britney is an artist that uses autotune, you can pretty much tell in every song it's been enhanced... it was never a massive secret that she uses it so idk why everyone is SO shocked now lol. i think britney is more of an entertainer, than a singer. shes obv still doing something right if she lasted this long. the end of the day she's still selling plenty of ecords n still one of the biggest names out there i cant see why people care its still HER voice. even she can have an OFF DAY for gods sake

There's a bit of a difference. With a film you know the effects are effects but you'd be shocked if you discovered an actor couldn't act for real and it was just edited so it looked like they could.

Regardless of the video, a good singer in my opinion is someone who can sing without needing anything such as computer effects.

The song is still great and her singing without effects is still good, I don't know what to say about this one though, but she is still going solid regardless of what people think of her.
