I know the new MacBook's come out around this time (they may already have) but I'm in the market for a new one. My current one is 5 years old and I want to get the newest version and hopefully keep it for another 5 years. I have a 13" retina now I use for work but I would either like to get the same or a 15"..
Can anyone tell me whether the new ones have been released or when they will be released or if they're going to re-design them in the future.
THANKS
the current ones have been out since last year, I expect they'll release a new one soon before september
but really I don't keep up with apple-news
I have the most current cheaper model which is the 15 inch retina w/o the dedicated graphics card it's RRP is £1.7k but you can buy them new and sealed on ebay for £1.2-1.3k from actual retail stores so I would never buy direct from apple
the one with better processor, dedicated graphics card & bigger SSD is £2.2k retail but you can get them on ebay for about £1.7k again from legit retail store ebay accounts

so it just depends if you want to wait
I don't expect the new ones to be much different though but if I was you i'd spend some time reasearching because 1k+ is a large amount of money to drop on a laptop

You have a five year old retina macbook? That's impressive.

Have you ever modified or upgraded parts in the 2009 model?
