what annoys you the most when you are on a bus/train ride etc?
mine is when ppl (mostly guys) who open their legs super wide invading onto the seat next to them like srsly what are you trying to show -__-

Just hate when its really busy and you have to stand, and the selfish people who know its busy but still sit on the outside seat. Also, when people play their music really loud that you can ever word from like 10 rows away omg.
I also hate people sitting on the outside seat, and people who put their bags and stuff on the seat next to them when it's super busy. Like how inconsiderate can you get? Loud conversations are also annoying.

I used to put my bad on the seat next to me but the bus was kinda empty and there was like plenty of seats but if it started getting busy id move my bag obv
When like going to school or going home, my bus was full of like older people so theyd all say Bloody school kids getting on a public bus, which isnt rly fair bcos its the only way for half of us to get home lmao
Also when the bus is packed and sometimes they sit on the middle of the seat. One thing is when dogs get brought on the bus' that arent like guard dogs or ones to help, and they make them sit on a seat so it smells all doggy, it happend when it was pouring with rain so the dog was soaked ew

when its busy
when people sit next to you in spite of there being millions of free seats
prams
prams again
i really hate prams
people who carry the weight of the earth inside their gigantic luggage bag
people who dont have the correct amount of money before boarding the [e.g.] bus
people who play music so loud it's like youre at a concert
prams

Kids who are rude. And this makes me sound really mean but I hate it when old people come and stand right next to you so you have to stand up and let them sit. :L
That group of teenagers that make sure everyone on the bus can hear their conversation that's full of swearing and hate for other people.

Oh and as for the opening legs wide thing, i do that but only because leg room is so ******* cramped sometimes [perks of being 6ft] and its actually more comfortable to open your legs wider for some reaosn.

prams ffs so many inconsiderate prams. they have the biggest prams thst they wont fold down or w.e and have no respect for anyone else. this woman on the bus wouldnt fold down her pram for a wheelchair user so the driver had to stop the bus for ages, those bits on the bus are actually designed for disabled users not giant prams

not being funny but yeah, i dont like when big people sit next to me cause it's really awkward having someone else's legs or stomach on me... do big people seek out thin people so they can get more room cause am always left with half a seat, just cause am skinny doesn't mean i wanna give up half my seat
other than that, people kissing!! like full on kissing. at 8 in the morning?!?! when id get an early train home from scotts for uni, there was a young couple who got the same train and would full on kiss each other and it's just so unnecessary and disgusting. cuddling is ok or a lil kiss every now and then.

once there was a bin bag on the bus which had been there for ages and it had something in it and nobody claimed it so people started getting worried incase it was dangerous n told the driver and the bus stopped and he came to check it out and he opened it
turns out it was full of walkers crisps and he handed them out to everyone

Pretty much loud music, especially early in the morning when i'm trying to catch a few more zzz's before work.
People who talk super loud on their phones.
Kids in general.
I legit am terrified of balloons so anyone getting on the bus with balloons I watch constantly so I am aware if a balloon may pop.
People who sit next to me despite their being plenty of empty seats.

the seats that face each other on busses were the ones i avoided
dont use public transport anymore though so im good
only other thing i can think of that hasn't been said is horrible bus drivers. annoys me so much when you get an arrogant driver who's impatient and pull their face at you. and they don't stop the bus if someone runs for it or make really harsh brakes so you end up flying across the bus when you wanna get off :l i'm probs just being picky but i just think it's better when the drivers happy lol and they say thank you when you pay for your ticket or something. and are considerate when old people get on!!
when you get on and walk upthe stairs and the driver starts the bus straight away. when id dislocated my knee and was on crutches the bottom of the bus was packed so i had to go upstairs and there i am on crutches and the bus drives off round a corner erm no can you not

Loud music.
If it's busy and someone has something on a seat i'll say loudly 'COULD I SIT THERE PLEASE THANKS' and they move it.

Oh yes, some bus drivers. I remember one guy last year refused to stop at my stop and pointed to the other stop down the road with loads of people at so I had to walk all the way down... well if that's the case why have a ******* stop there you ****wit!?
Andddd now i'm angry.

people who kick your chair from behind
people who play loud music
drunk people that talk too loudly
people who eat food that smells vile
people who talk on the phone but u can hear their conversation happening from 10 seats away
our local bus company was actually on channel 5 on the yorkshire buses and they've introduced rules for like respecting others on the buses and you're not allowed hot food or drinks on the bus, music turned down to a respectable volume andthey have signs at the back of the bus to not put feet on seats but I am kind of guilty of that
Becca

little ***** at the back of the bus acting all hard when really they are all wearing clarks shoes the RATS
i don't really know, I like listening in to people's conversations so I don't mind if they talk and i dont mind standing up cos it's not exactly designed for comfort.
definitely people who don't have the right change though, or when they're asked if they a want a student ticket go rifling in their pockets for5mins for their id... just pay the extra money idiots
i always get the bus
i really hate it when people play music outloud ;l
i hate ity when people shout on the bus
when ppl smoke on the bus (is that even legal)
when people spit out the window
when people put feel on the chairs
when people act as if its their bus
people who bring rly smelly foods like boxes of fish and such n open them
people who are behind me open the window next to me when its pissing down with rain
when people refuse to move when its your stop cos theyre so comfy and you end up missing your stop
people who stand on the stairs
it annoys me when people dont say thanks to the bus driver and idk why lol
when people are rude to the bus driver
when the bus drivers rude to people
when people who are like 13 and have nothing wrong with them refuse to give up their seat for older people who struggle a lot more even tho theyre def capable of just standing for a couple of stops and instead leave the older people to stand
when the bus is full and people still put bags and stuff on seats
when people leave hot chocolates and such on seats and it spills
when people start trying to be rude to you because theyre with their friends like hello minding my own business here
people with bad b.o yeah
people who stand in the way of the door and dont mind theirselves when other people are trying to get through
a lot of things
oh this is only bout buses rly

There's a lot of things that pissed me off on the bus, but I'll be fair to those people in that it wasn't their fault as such. Children are loud, large people are large, it cannot really be helped.
There are 3 things that really pisses me off that people do.
1. Pushing in the queue. When people are there before you it is courteous to let them ahead in most situations with the exception in #2. This isn't so much a problem when it's not a group of school kids, but it would piss me off so much when people did this. It's like they can't grasp simple concepts.
2. Not letting those who need the space in first. Could be someone with crutches, a parent with a child, an old person etc. Regardless of how much space is on the bus, they should always be let on first as far as I'm concerned.
3. Being intentionally disrespectful to the bus driver in any way. Be it unnecessarily loud noise, jumping around, being an arse. Again, with some kids there is an exception because they don't tend to realise what they are doing but anyone aged 11+ should be able to control themselves.
Oh and bonus #4. Those who hold up the bus for no good reason. I had a woman who missed her stop because she pressed the bell quite late and the driver didn't realise. It happens and usually they will stop as soon as they realise. This woman could have just accepted it and walked the extra 20 metres, but no she decides she needs to argue with the bus driver for about 5 minutes therefore delaying everyone else, the selfish *****.

Mines would have to be when people curse in general when they are on public transport mainly when there are children as well but regardless of that there is no need to overly curse especially in other peoples company who need to listen to it.

Okay one time me and my gf were going up to Dublin to see a show. We got the 7:30am bus from my two and we went to the back and there were like no people on the bus so Aisling lay down on me to get some z's so we took up like three single seats. Then like a half hour later this guy got on the bus and THERE WAS STILL LOTS OF ROOM and he came to the very back and sat with us anyway and we were like oh okay.
This guy smelt so bad of just everything, B.O., booze, weed etc. and was trying to talk with us and we were just like this guy isn't right. Like five minutes later he took out a massive bottle of Devil's Bit Cider and started drinking it AT LIKE 8 IN THE MORNING. Seriously I think it was 2-3 litres. We were really uncomfortable.
The weird thing is, this guy was wearing a suit so we thought it was some dodgy bloke on the way to work or something. Not before long he whipped out his phone and was talking to someone for ages and eventually started saying like "Will you be my witness" and stuff like this. THIS GUY WAS O NTHE WAY TO COURT!!!!! We were really freaked out but just stayed put and then he started pissing down the fire escape and stuff omg but yeah....... didn't like him.

I have a lot of peeves n theyre all going to come out now ok
1. Prams that don't fold up. I get you need something to take your baby around in but that means you need to buy it a lightweight, easy-to-fold pram that doesn't block up the entire tube/bus :@
2. Rude bus drivers. When I was at an old school, I remember I was running late one morning and so I was running for the bus. I was literally FIVE METRES away when the bus driver the closed the doors in my face, smirked, and drove off. I was only like 11 so I just wanted to cry :'(
3. Anyone else who is rude. I don't care if you're having a bad day, that's not my (or anyone else on this bus') fault so get over yourself and learn some manners :)
4. People who won't let you sit down when there's a spare seat next to them.
5. Screaming/crying children/babies. Some kids just need a good slap. And if your baby is properly screaming its lungs out on a fullish bus (although it's worse on the tube), it's polite to just get off at the next stop to try and calm it down instead of sending everyone around you quietly insane.
6. People who SPIT. I was sat on the bus one time a few years ago and this teenager spat on an old lady's shoes. She gave him the dirtiest look I have ever seen and then hit him with her shopping bags it was legit one of the funniest things ever.
7. Perfectly able-bodied people who refuse to get up for the elderly, disabled or pregnant. But that's also kinda funny because then you know everyone else on the bus is collectively hating and judging that person for being a *****.
8. Perfectly able-bodied people who expect other able-bodied people to get up for them when the bus is full. It's first come first serve, folks.
Hmm that's all for now. I have others related specifically to the tube but they're not as "interesting".
Wow public transport gets me so angry.

None really, although in London today about 4 youths were flexing and climbing the bars a lot. It wasn't annoying really and in some way cool but leaving skateboards standing upright against the side which inevitably fall to the ground with a load bang while they were mucking around didn't please that many people on the Jubilee line between Canary Wharf and Stratford.
Right just a few, I don't really use public transport much because I tend to drive, but i'll take the bus to get into Oxford and use trains from time to time.
Maybe more of a general thing but it happens a lot on the bus so.. people who see me, a tall and reasonably stocky teenager wearing a hoody, and instantly assume I'm going to steal their wallet or stab them. I actually got on to a bus once after training when I was about 16 so I was wearing a hoody and trackies, there were no double seats left and there was already a group standing at the bag holding bit so I had to pick someone to sit next to, sat next to them and they actually stood up and went to sit somewhere else, I was like waaat.
Babies. Screw you and your baby, get that thing a muzzle.
That person who talks ridiculously loudly on the phone, omg we don't want to hear about what you're having for dinner or what you're doing this weekend.
On the tube especially, the overly in-a-rush people or those who just seem to run through the place. Why is everyone like that, set off 10 minutes earlier and have a nice stroll, don't you dare barge me out of the way.
Finally, that really awkward scenario when someone walks on the bus and you don't know if you should be offering your seat to them or not, this could be for a number of reasons. 1) You're on the window side and offering them your seat is going to cause hassle. 2) You don't know whether they're pregnant or just fat. 3) You can't tell whether or not they're old enough to genuinely need a seat or would just get offended if you think that they were.

People eating really obscure, smelly food on a hot, packed tube.
People who don't move as you're trying to get off of the tube.
People who don't move as you're trying to get on the tube.
People who smack you with their bags on the tube and are totally oblivious to it.
People who stink out the already stinky, hot tube.
Urgh, I hate the tube sometimes. Woo go London!

Tourists just do my head in on the tram, they like to sit on me because their friends/relatives sat in a four seat (two seats facing each other) and they've been left sitting next to me, or on me, on the two seat behind it... Literally the sit down with their backs facing me and almost sit on me. I may be small but I ain't that bloody small!
also when I'm sixth form students from my old high school get on the bus, now I wouldn't mind if it was like relatively unused bus by sixth form students but it's not there's literally hundreds of us in the surrounding area trying to get the same bus and these high school students are too lazy to walk for bloody 20 minutes so get on 4/5 stops before they get off again. I used to walk to the same school and I live further away! Jddoijoidejoeda
I also hate children who think it's funny to press the bell multiple times to impress their mates like eyy look at me pressing the bell 10 times I'm well cool. Grow up
All the other things people say are valid too
oh and as a side note, I go to London quite a lot due to my family being from there and the last time we went me, my brother and mum and dad all got on the tube and we were talking normally at about 3/4pm and omg the amount of evils we got for just talking at a moderate volume not shouting or anything were ridiculous, not a friendly lot are you down south

When they bring their pet dog on the bus and bark loudly.
When people with big bums shuv it in you face as they get passed (sitting).
When people push you with their big hands to get infront (especially when they're taller and think they're tough).
When people who look at you like you are strange.
When people cough in your face or spit at you by accident or by purpose.
When trolleys block your path when you need to get off any transport.
When taxi drivers don't want to go a certain place because it looks scary.
When someone farts as they pass you by and nearly faint.
When people eat right near your ear and make you cringe.
When foriegners use a different language you don't understand.

I agree with these mate yeah and creaming kids too. Though no offence, but having some sat next to you because they are Pregnant or Fat is a bit harsh. They cab't help being Pregnant really or being Fat (to some degrees). I'd not have a problem with this on Public Transport - "a set I a seat", it's no biggy really!
