The HxF Mole 3 - Introduction

One of these 20 contestants is the Mole. It is the objective of the contestants to figure out the identity of the Mole whilst they win VIP for the group prize fund. It is the objective of the Mole to remain unidentified and sabotage the tasks. To reiterate: The Mole has been randomly chosen, it truly can be any of the 20 contestants.

Tomorrow at 9PM BST the first set of tasks will be posted. The group has 24 hours to complete these tasks. Once the deadline has been met the Execution Quiz along with a ‘Who is the Mole?’ poll will be posted.

In the Execution Quiz the contestants are given 15 questions about the Mole. They must submit the answers to the quiz via PM to myself. The contestants have until 8pm to submit the quiz and the execution will then begin. The contestants with the lowest score (therefore the contestants that know the Mole the least) will be executed from the competition. The next set of tasks will then being at 9pm.

This cycle then continues until the end of the competition.

At the end of the competition we will announce the Mole as well as the results from every quiz and poll, and VIP prizes to be given out. Please note, the winner of the competition (That’s the contestant that scores the highest in the final quiz) will ALWAYS win the group VIP prize fund. The Mole will win the Mole’s prize fund (That’s any group VIP the group fails to win) if they remain undetected throughout the competition (They are allowed 15 detections total throughout the competition and a detection is a person scoring 8 or more in a quiz and picking the Mole in their final question). So, to repeat: The winner always wins, the Mole may or may not win.

10th Sunday – Game Round 1 begins at 9pm.
11th Monday – Game Round 1 ends at 9pm and Execution Quiz 1 and Poll 1 is posted.
12th Tuesday – Execution begins at 8pm and Game Round 2 begins at 9pm.
13th Wednesday - Game Round 2 ends at 9pm and Execution Quiz 2 and Poll 2 is posted.
14th Thursday - Execution begins at 8pm and Game Round 3 begins at 9pm.
15th Friday - Game Round 3 ends at 9pm and Execution Quiz 3 and Poll 3 is posted.
16th Saturday - Execution begins at 8pm and Game Round 4 begins at 9pm.
17th Sunday - Game Round 4 ends at 9pm and Execution Quiz 4 and Poll 4 is posted.
18th Monday - Execution begins at 8pm and Game Round 5 begins at 9pm.
19th Tuesday - Game Round 5 ends at 9pm and Execution Quiz 5 and Poll 5 is posted.
20th Wednesday - Execution begins at 8pm and Game Round 6 begins at 9pm.
21st Thursday - Game Round 6 ends at 9pm and Execution Quiz 6 and Poll 6 is posted.
22nd Friday - Execution begins at 8pm and Game Round 7 begins at 9pm.
23rd Saturday - Game Round 7 ends at 9pm and Execution Quiz 7 and Poll 7 is posted.
24th Sunday – Finale begins at 8pm. The Mole is revealed, the finishing positions are revealed, the poll results are revealed and HxSS points and VIP is awarded.

Now there are various things new to this years competition.

First of all is Individual VIP. Throughout the tasks the group will compete to win group VIP for the prize fund, but along the way contestants can win individual VIP. This is VIP that is simply awarded to whoever wins it, rather than the group. Individual VIP prizes are much much smaller than group VIP prizes. It is intended to be a small thank you for taking part rather than a supplement to winning the competition. Individual VIP amounts will not be posted throughout the competition and will be announced and awarded during the finale.

Also new is the ‘Who is the Mole?’ poll which awards HxSS points. It’s simply a poll posted in the HxF Mole 3 subforum with each contestant as a poll option and the forum can vote for who they think the Mole is. The results of this poll will remain hidden until the end of the competition.
Anyone that votes for the Mole during the correct time period (So before the Execution Quiz starts) will be awarded HxSS points, and one lucky person from all the people that predicted the Mole will also win a month of VIP. Contestants ARE allowed to vote in the poll, and they MAY vote for someone different to their choice in their quiz.

Poll results and HxSS points will be announced at the end of the competition.

We also have some new game changing prizes that will be announced in future tasks.

So basically, game starts tomorrow night. Solve tasks, figure out Mole, answer quiz, repeat and win.

Unlucky those that are in it and wanting to compete in hxss but won't be able to see all the fun going on around the forum :P although I expect certain people will help cheat for their teammates ;) have fun though everyone looks like a decent lineup assuming they're not all away

Knew I forgot about something!

Any cheating going on will be punished immediately. This includes (but is not limited to) getting help from non/ex-contestants for tasks. The punishment will be the loss of VIP for the task and it will be awarded to the Mole.

The Mole has been notified that if they carryout the cheating the VIP will not be awarded to them. This is to make sure the Mole doesn't use this technique as a viable method of sabotage.
