Hmm, so we were learning how to juggle in science class.. Our teacher specifically says that if we take the time to learn how to juggle and take it one step at a time and do it for a specific amount of time that it can expand brain matter and make us smarter and be more "aware" of surroundings and comprehend things more and soak things up so we remember it or something around that area..

Is this real? Or does he just think we're stupid... I think it could be real.. We had to do some research on it and I guess it is!! But does it work for everyone? Is it real or are they fooled?

What do you guys think?

It might potentially make you more spatially aware due to the nature of the skill but it won't make you smarter or anything, and expanding your brain sounds rather dangerous

Hmm, maybe... When you look it up though you see all sorts of things! Like the one college that did tests and expiriments and all that... Hmm.. We will have to see once I attempt to learn how to juggle!!!! haha.

I find juggling so hard so I can see why they'd say it expands your brain lmao. I've never been able to do it but I guess It's never been something i've wanted to do.

Hahah, yes! I know, I don't really want to do it either! But I guess I have no choice! I really hope it works though for some apparent reason... Wish me luck!

Brushing your teeth with the opposite hand in morning and night is said to stimulate your brain somehow too. I guess it just evens out your left and right brain and makes u a little more ambidextrous.

Also forcing a smile can make you happy and changing you body language (power poses etc) can make you more confident. The brain is so weird

I learned to juggle when I was about 13 and my dad took us out and bought us juggling balls. What a waste of time. Learn something useful like how to code or how to speak French, that will expand your brain.

I have no idea how this would work but it sounds pretty cool, I can juggle myself so I may give it a try and see if I feel more "stimulated" after it haha!

I am actually a trained juggler. I was having lessons and taking classes for almost 4 years and I'm still very active when it comes to juggling with practically everything. I can say that my reflexes are on point and I have very good balance but that's kind of it really, I don't think it's made me smarter or anything.

:O 4 years??? That's awesome :D Come train meee!!! xD I have gotten to 2 balls... That's like... Not even juggling.. Haha. That's great though!!! Maybe it has expanded your brain but you just don't know it yet...

Anythings possible with throwing balls in the air and doing tricks I'm sure..:wink_blue:Sarcastic:

My tip for juggling with three is you have to ace juggling with two in one hand. Once you have that down then you can start to juggle with three.

I can juggle and I don't see how it would make you more aware of your surroundings or anything.

EDIT:

Learning to do a basic three ball juggle isn't difficult. I picked it up in about an hour or two.

LMAO Well you have to do it for longer than a day silly! pmsl I think it said you have to do it for 30+ mins a day for 6 weeks. Which means im not doing my homework :O I need to juggle today lmao.

Aw you're so lucky! I have litteraly spent all day like 12 hours trying to learn 3 ball one day and I still can't! And I'm not sure either!! All I know is that there are tests and stuff that say it increases Grey or White brain matter (don't remember which) and it can increase memory and things like that. If it increases your memory then it can make you comprehend things better maybe and be able to memorize like textbooks, story books, or things you learn easier maybe? Hmm..

I can't juggle at all..... but always learning new things will keep your brain active and help starve off dementia.
