View Full Version : How do you guys feel about people going on .com speaking another language?

This past summer, I've noticed a flux of different languages being spoken on habbo other than English. Most likely they come on .com because their own language hotel is closed at 12am or its not as populated as .com. I've seen French, Italian, Sweden, German, Dutch, Tagalog, Spanish, Portuguese, etc being typed.

Honestly, I don't mind it because it makes ,com feel even more international. Plus it fun meeting people around the world and learning about their countries. But it does get discontenting when they switch to their language and I'm left out of the conversation.

I don't see many, though there's been a few come into the Help Desk.

It's a little annoying that they expect you to teach them English though. :\

I used to do Habbo events and games at night when it was quieter but now I've noticed a lot of them are playing in the rooms at this time now and it's just as full as in the day :P

I don't mind it really. I've meet a few cool people from around the world and it's nice to get to know them.

i'm swedish myself and I actually made a thread about this in the discussion forums in-game, pretty much asking everyone the same thing as you did,
and most people don't really care as long as the person can speak english. Like I speak swedish around my swedish friends you know,
I don't see why I have to speak english to people who speaks the same language as me (swedish).
But when I have english friends around I type in english just to not make anyone feel left out :Content:

I hate it personally. They become shallow by calling me names because of my username. I know what the Spanish speakers say and so do the Italian. They usually comment some pretty disgusting things and also the most stupidest things.

There were just some Italians in the HxHD, and they were so friendly and lovely and spoke good english, their Hotel shuts at 2am. Not a problem with them

To be fair it has absolutely nothing to do with me what language they speak.

I don't care. Ive got good friends who come from all different hotels, that come to .com regularly.

Although i hate when .es/.com.br is down and they all come to our hotel and spam for no reason
