HELLO
I would just like to publicly say that I'm generally v. impressed with HabboxLive during HxSS this year!
There are sometimes quite a few problems with it but it seems to be relatively smooth this year, and although I can't tune in during the day I've been so impressed with the shows I do listen to.
IDK whether this is a normal thing for HxL these daysor just people bumping up their quality due to the event but I'm seriously so impressed.
This is more to say THANK YOU to the DJs, not only by listening to what we're saying about booking comps but actually following through and hosting things and not arguing about everything too much.
I would just like to quickly name Ozzinator; who is right now hosting one of the best shows I've ever listened to and I'm enjoying it so much. YOU GO GIRLFRIEND.

Don't say it like it's a bad thing! They don't HAVE to host as part of their role, so it's great to see them getting stuck in anyway!

But people like jazz do 3-4/day, and get 0 credit.

I don't really get what you mean by 'credit' - no events hosts really get 'credit' for hosting events :p I've already spoken to Jazz on Skype earlier this evening saying thanks and everything. I was just talking about the quality of shows in this thread.

Jazz isn't an events host? So she's going beside herself to host 3-4/day. Then you go and credit someone who hosts two in a go, even though it's their weekly show anyway.
No offence to you at all Ozzinator, you are fab, but hopefully you can see where im coming from.

And everyone else.. Jssy; did 2 today..
Other DJs, including myself aren't willing to step into the firing line of stuff like "This is why DJs shouldn't be allowed to host events", especially when giving time to something that you aren't required to give time to.

Yeah, Jssy hosts a fair amount too, sorry I didn't brignt hat up.
You have a legitimate reason not to host though, so I'm not blaming you.
Tbh though, no its not something I normally do hosting events but I've actually really enjoyed it so far, got to know alot more of the community and its made me realise I really enjoy hosting. And I've had positive comments from people like Kirsty who want to hear more of DJ's doing stuff for HxSS because theres only a few of us. Maybe during HxSS it should be made mandatory for DJ's to do something for HxSS, say each DJ should have to do at least 1 slot for HxSS or something, that way it brings more listeners to the radio and everyone gets involved. Just a suggestion. People have said in the past for HxSS, literally every show was for something to do with HxSS

Positive feedback threads never stay positive long at Habbox! :'(
Well done to the DJ's who have been hosting some fab events and shows on habboxlive over HxSS!
I do miss Bethies Dirty Duck Pub Quiz this year, that was absolutely legend!
I will be sure to try tune in more tomorrow! Habboxlive plays a crucial role during HxSS in keeping the momentum going, informing our new users etc about habbox, explaining where the events are at etc, and just gelling the whole thing together really well!
On air competitions are always fun and easy to enter, and its good they're being utilised! :D

I thought you were talking about hosting events as Jazz has hosted quite a few today! I was just crediting the show which inspired me to finally make a thread about the GENERAL quality of a LOT OF SHOWS on HabboxLive because this one has been stand out to me, whether it's a weekly or not!

Providing the system hasn't been removed in like the last 24 hours, people get (I think) 20 DJ points for hosting an event.
To give you an idea of how much that is, you get 25c at 300 points but can accumulate points by hosting slots, covering for people etc etc
Inseriousity.

Oh dear how is woody a head dj with that attitude
I like it when they give me points, so yes I too like HxL this year.

I really agree with the quality and everything this year. I'm happy with DJs hosting and it's nice to see a lot getting stuck in!
Keep it up guys :).
Thank you to all the djs who have taken the time to host some comps for us!! I have enjoyed tuning in these past few days x It didn't seem like there was many comps first few days but glad more are getting stuck in!

Well considering I've been looking around other Fansites as a comparison over HxSS and I have really noticed HxL's listeners being greater than most the other sites over the past few days.
Seeing an average of ~20 listeners. When I checked FlyHabbo's they have 3-5 listeners.
I think it's a real testament to the quality of some of our HxL Staff. There's always room for improvement, but great work to everyone getting stuck in to hosting some events. I can hopefully pick some up next week when work dies down(I Hope) and start giving out some prizes.
Oh, Go Green!
