Bearded Dragons!

Recently, ive decided that I really want a bearded dragon! Theyre just so cool and cute and i think it'd have a good time living with me - i'd be able to take it out of his vivarium every day, train him etc.

I was wondering is there anywhere (which you would suggest a good place) to go about buying them? Any trusted websites?

If you have a pet store with reptiles in I'd suggest looking for one locally, that way you can check out the way they're treated etc. too. :}

BHBreptiles has a good selection of reptiles. think its just within th US though

They are a little expensive, heating/lighting, tank/ food.

Go to a pet shop or a reptile shop in person as you can see the documentation and make sure everything is all good before you buy. Bearded Dragons look cool though.

You actually can order a reptile online and it be delivered in a box the next few days in some countries! Its mad :s

Better in a box safe and sound for a day or two than in the belly of another beast out in the wild. :P

I didn't even know pet shops still existed. We have a huge garden centre where you can buy parrots I think but that's it?

Anyway I know nothing about bearded dragons but they look really cute and you should post pics of it if u get one!!! :)

DO NOT BUY ONE FROM A PET SHOP!

Bearded Dragons aren't lively creatures so it's hard to know how healthy they are. I know someone who owns a rescue centre and she said that she has taken about 100 bearded dragons from pet shops because they have been mistreated. Find your closest rescue centre, someone who really cares and knows their stuff and ask them for advice.
