Dear Pivot,



As one of our happiest Habbos, you have been randomly selected to take part in a ‘closed beta’ testing group for the new Habbo web!


Only the first 100 responders will be given a space in the group. Don’t worry - If you miss out this time, there will be more chances in future testing phases!


Over the period of 1 week, we will ask you to review the new Habbo web and complete some simple questionnaires during testing.

Wow, I knew I was behind the times... I didn't know by how much LOL!

I imagine it'd most likely be homepage, though it could possibly be like that lab rat beta testing on client.
You'll just have to sign up and fill us in ;)

Oooh...Have you heard the news?!
Another day, another Beta-testing group in Habbo.
“What is it this time?!” we hear you typing frantically… Well, Habbos and gentlemen … *drum roll* …It’s the renewed Habbo Web platform!
A highly skilled team of coffee-fueled developers and designers have been hard at work creating the next generation of web platform for Habbo, and we are finally ready to release it into the wild!
Well, almost…We’re ready to start the next stages of closed beta-testing, which is why we need you!
We are randomly selecting a group of 100 lovely lab-rat Habbos, who have committed to spending the next week testing this new platform with us. The aim of this initial closed testing is to allow a smaller group of users to give us more targeted and direct feedback in these early stages.
Didn’t get selected this time? Don’t worry! We will have multiple phases of testing, so there will be plenty of chances to be chosen.

This testing group has been randomly selected from Habbo users, accessing the .COM Hotel.
Can I sign up for future testing?
There are plenty of Beta-testing projects in the near future. If you are interested in joining us for future Beta-testing groups, keep your eyes peeled for azure articles and/or minimails with details of how to join.
What is ‘Habbo Web Platform?”
This project is to test the platform set to replace the current Habbo Web, which includes the 'me' page.
The renewal will not affect the current Habbo client.
When will the renewed web be launched?
Dependent on how closed beta and open beta testing phases go, we are hoping to launch sometime in December 2014!

This a BIG project for all of use here at Habbo and we hope you are just as excited as we are! Your feedback is invaluable to us.

Sounds pretty interesting, seeing as they begun work on the web a long long time ago with the credit page. Hopefully lots of cool attractive features.

I'd hope they would update minimail so we can sent minimails to friends, and have convos again. Since they are upgrading the web layout, i would think maybe the minimail may get updated, with a new style since minimail is just a frame from off-client (http://www.habbo.com/habblet/minimail).

Nice to see they're still making progress, homepages and group pages probably wont be back for a long time. Asked about it a while a go and the more or less said it wasn't priority. I checked Habbo few days a go when I saw updates and got like 10 mini-mails about the beta testing all saying the same some with a few link errors.

a lot of the people in the beta group weren't online when the minimail was first sent out, so i seriously doubt they were one of the first 100 to reply. very odd.

Today I was selected to test out the navigator. Only 100 people have been given this distinguished honour, and apparently if I "complete my duties" I will receive an exclusive badge at the end of the week!

Habbo stays on one page with everything staying on so like you will stay in the habbo room or thing your on when inside the hotel if going back onto the homepage.

Is the homepage part of the client or something? whats with the hide button on your client?

The overall design is okay. Good the website is responsive but I feel it is holding back a solid design. Seems to be boxes with images slapped behind them. I prefer the lighter style of the login page. It's kinda weird with all these different blues/teals they are using. The biggest issue is the lack of features. Nothing new here, really boring. Some fansites offer better features. Why is all the creativity being taken away? What happened to custom pages with stickers? Widgets? Can't you modify & update the current version of user home pages? Stories are relevant to kids in elementary school. They are missing their mark with this so called feature. Teens are reading articles, watching videos, and looking at pictures. I'm pretty sure people only use it because they want to win badges & furni. The new navigator is a total failure. Stop overusing badges. Are favorite rooms being replaced by "saved searches"? Does the hotel have floors anymore? Is there even a hotel? Are Habbos now venturing out into the world to build rooms? And the biggest problem - size.
