Have you ever had to call 999/911?

Have you ever had to call 999/911 or whatever your countries emergency services number is?

I haven't luckily but I think I'd be really panicky depending what happened!

I had to call 999 twice in February this year, once for the fire services because the wood burner chimney at work broke and set alight to the timber and secondly for the police because the Royal British Legion across the road from me was being burgled.

i've only ever rang as a prank phonecall but other than that no luckily, i don't think i'd cope

Yeah I have but it was because there was a massive tree down in the middle of the road and it was in a really dangerous place and I didn't know who else to call lmao

Yeah, called for an ambulance plenty of times when a close family member used to live with us and fell/choked quite a bit. I don't like to brag but I have the 999 conversation down to perfection now x

My mum was investigated by social services because they thought my relation was getting physically injured bc she was abusing him!

Nope, quite lucky in that sense, never really seen anything bad. Had to call non-emergency police a few times when I worked in a charity shop (espesh around London Riots time) and someone called a 999 for me cos I was too busy writhing in pain to be able to :(

he was acting all weird and we thought it was him being grumpy but then we tried waking him up and he wouldnt wake up or respond to any of us
turns out he had reallllllyy low blood sugar (diabetic) and yeh

one time i got off the phone with a relative n i was in my room n just rang 999 out of curiousity :( then i put the phone down straight away n hid n they they rang bk......... it didnt go well

Nope but I've had 999 rang on me, mum rang police on me and neighbours have in past for public disturbance or something because I used to get really angry and shout a lot. Nana rang 999 for me an ambulance when i dislocated my knee on xbox kinect. Never rang 999 personally though

Phoned non-emergency number for the police. They asked my name and address but I didn't want to get involved so said I would rather not say haha. There was a disturbance across the road at 2am with a man and a woman in a car, woman was screaming and keeping everyone up. Police came round and they stopped and drived off... yeah.. :P

My parents live surrounded by mountains so I've witnessed many a mountain fire and almost phoned 999 a few times. I've only rang it once because of a mountain fire though but it didn't go the best because I didn't know the name of the mountain. Turns out someone had already rang anyway.
BUT when you ring it on an iPhone, it shows a picture of a little ambulance type thing on the screen. I found that amazing.

No. My mum had to when our neighbours fire alarm was going off with nobody inside. They decided to leave some food cooking on the hob as they went out for a bit.

i said i was going to buy him a newspaper at like 11am and walked to the village and saw Rozi; working so i went n spoke to rozi and text my dad saying im gna stay out for a bit and he was like yehhh sure etc
my phone battery ran out n i ended up staying til end of rozis work so i got home at 5pm and my dad had phoned the police thinking i was missing omg
