So on Wednesday I purchased a £69.99 Currys Essentials Wine Cooler. I decided i'd use it as a fridge for under my PC Desk to store snacks, drinks etc.

We ordered it on Wednesday and it arrived on Friday afternoon. I plugged it in and let it cool up for 20 minutes and it works like a gem!

I filled the fridge with my 90 cans of coke (couldnt fit them all) and 9 bottles of Budweiser.

Only downside to this wine cooler, ive set it to the lowest coolness (it says 5 degrees is the lowest) but right now its only at 10 degrees, and hasn't gone down that much all night (unless my thermometer is broke).

I would definately recommend this Wine Cooler to any gamer/person who likes to store snacks in their room. For £69.99 the cooler is amazing.

Well there is a dial on the back 0-5, 1 being the highest in warmth (not like a cooker but doesnt cool as much) and 5 being super frosty. I put mine on 5 last night at around 6:30pm, to go back to it at 10am this morning and found half the cans closest to the back were super cold/frozen and one exploded :/ so ive put it on 4 for now (still cools really well but isnt as icy as number 5)

Just madness really. Thought it was such a good offer to refuse, I bought 3 packs of 30 :/ But yeh its perfect for that sort of stuff.

Does it have a white LED internal light? It looks very familiar to my one except yours has a glossy black front while mine is stainless steel.

I wish it had a light in it - that's the only thing it needs to be 100% perfect.

Hmm, you could possibly fit one. LED strips are not too expensive. The only issue is you need properly insulate it and find an appropriate power source, possibly wiring it so it uses the same power as the fridge. If you like random tasks you could try it but only if you're confident, and then post the results :P
