Doesn't seem to have the original comments on there but yeah making light of serious illnesses, especially ones that can affect you through your life like that, is awful. "Deserve to burn in hell" is a bit harsh but good on her for standing up for her sister

I can never understand why anyone, let alone celebrities, respond to troll comments on Twitter. It's exactly the reaction they're looking for.

"You deserve to rot in hell" really? that comment and her inability to compile a sentence without a swear word shows her up more than the person making nasty remarks.

It must be hard enough for a 'normal' person in this situation, I bet she gets these trolls saying abuse to ever 10x worse than anyone could imagine and if she's feeling emotional about her sisters scoliosis I guess it wouldn't and clearly didn't take much for her to explode and take to twitter. I don't really blame her and I doubt she really cares if she gets any backlash from this, she seems like a family girl.
i agree with daniel, I love demi and all she stands for but thats the reaction the person wanted

I never knew her sister played the younger Sonny in the Blossom Scout episode.
Anyway, it is harsh to mock her sister's condition - I know she could have just left it and not retaliated, but I think a lot of people would have reacted the same way if it was their sibling. Some of the comments were a bit too far, but again it could just show how much she sticks up for her.

While it is nice of her to defend her sister, she walked straight into that one.

No idea who he/she is but well done on protecting your sister. Never target someone innocent, especially someone who may not have the resources to defend themselves. If this bully can deal it, they can surely take it - so I wouldn't say their response was harsh.

They are a star from Disney television and films who has many young children idolising them.
