I chose this memory because 6 years ago I introduced my friend Josh to play Habbo, His name was Crawfish, everyone who played back when in 2005+ will remember him. I use to live right next to him, We would usually hang out outside during the day time but once the sun starting going down we would get on and go into his casino and take bets all night long. Anyways this day we let me have his typo.. ( Remember having a typo then was worth way more than it is now) I was so happy this day, One of our friends was telling me to steal it and log out but what he didn't know was he was giving it to me! This day was great as you can see I'm on Bobbavalues.com as I'm playing as well.. This was (back in the day anyway) the world record for the most amount of Habbos in a room. We're all Habbo eXperts having an international eXpert meeting on the Canadian hotel. They didn't want to give us foreign Xs an X badge, but we needed room override to get us into the room, so they gave us VIP badges instead.

A memory of mine I loved was being in Royal City owned by Justrandom - I'd gone up ranks and got on really well with everyone in there.

On the old console nearing Christmas the guys sent me thousands of messages with random messages.
When you logged out and back in, each time you'd get about 500 messages to delete.

It was pretty funny but also a pain in the bum!

My favourite Habbo memory is when people thought that Callie was going to release the throne in the catalogue and it ended up crashing to like 5hc per throne and it ended up she released one of the dragons I think. Price of the throne sky rocketed. Unfortunately I stopped playing and didn't manage to cash in on the price soaring and they ended up losing value over time and I hardly made anything from it. :[

I don't have a picture, but I do have a great old memory for me.

I was on Habbo and went to Ludus' Habbo Rugby game which was similar to Fridge Game, but with teams (like rugby). Each time it came on your rug someone had to grab something from it - carrot was kick, ice cream p2k etc. if you came off of your rug you were out.

I had 2 accounts in the game and my normal account had lost ages ago, one team had been knocked out and then the 2nd to last player on my team lost too. I was against around 8 other people on the other team, not standing a chance. Ludus decided that because it was hard for me to win he said "If BashfulRomance wins I'll give her a Dino." (I was on my clone as it was less laggy that one at the time).

I went to my fridge and got an ice cream - I picked someone it was really hard because I didn't have HC so I had to click someone. Then it was the other team - you only got 5 seconds to go to the fridge, and everyone was scared. If no one went they all lost, Ludus started counting down. At this point I still thought I had no chance, when it got to 1 someone tried going for the fridge, but it was too late! They were all kicked and the crowd went mad, I received like 30 friend requests instantly and I got my Dino. It was worth 2 Thrones 38 HCs at the time, I was shaking and when I got it I went into Jessie;'s event and showed Alex3213;.

The end :P. I then sold it for 2 Thrones 20 HC, the next day it plummeted in price so I was happy.

The screenshot is not really old per se, but I created the room a couple of years ago when the hotels merged. It has the trophies friends had sent me over the years, some special furni given to me as gifts, and stickies with some great memories with my best old friends!

There was such a huge rivalry between teams it was fantastic, even if my team didn't win, still came 5th despite having some other teams conspire against us! POF for life!! Don't get me wrong, the actual events were piss poor and badly managed (cheating was easy), but it was just how active the hotel was at the time.

3. Winning the billboard competition. Partially because I was the first winner, partially because people got ridiculously pissed off (http://www.habboxforum.com/showthread.php?t=324814). Fortunately some entries after mine were much worse so at least that makes up for it, kind of. I wish there was a proper archive of all the entries somewhere so I could see them all again.

Takeshi's Castle. Would literally play that game all day every day, especially Clong's.
The hand and habbo.co.uk are probably the best though. The instant hate of the merge from everyone including me, and seeing the death of takeshi's castles and the rise of carnivals.
I know this sounds a little weird but I loved the feeling of Habbo itself, just the idea that it was there and I could hang out with people was enough for me. Now it's more of a brand and the people on there suck.

I looked up just now and saw L1C'S FREAKING MAZE OMG THIS WAS THE GREATEST. I GOT STUCK ON ONE ROOM AND HAD TO LEAVE AND I REMEMBER IT BEING NEAR THE END AND NOW I CANT DO IT SO I HATE MY LIFE.

I miss the mafia rooms. 2005 era. I also remember the first rare i bought, at the time i thought it was pointless because i was young and naive. I thought to myself,why buy this rare for 25creds when i could buy 7 Lodge corners or Dividers....lol. The rare was the Bronze Elephant. When i bought it i got a fuzzy feeling lol. It completed my room.

I also miss the old navigation, where there was only one pop list. If your room was in the red, you knew you were doing well.
The small, old sckool rooms were the best rooms. 25max capacity.

No photos to show, however I will search to see if there are any in the depths of my old hard drive.

RIP Habbo 2002-2007. The best era. The hand, the console, the navigation panel. Simple yet sweet.

Wow, this thread is awesome. Loving all of the old screenshots... although I am sad that I didn't take many back in the day. Especially cause there were just so so so so many great moments. Honestly. I can't even begin to narrow down to a single favorite moment because Habbo was just such an integral part of my life for so many years.

Thanks for posting all of your screenies, Kardan. I'm actually in one of them... in the International Habbo X Meeting, I'm wearing the green cowboy hat, green hoodie, and baige pants. I'm standing (relatively) close to the door. I miss the XHabbo forums. I would say the day that I became a Habbo X was probably one of my favorite moments. It was really great to join such an awesome team.

Another obvious favorite was the moment that ALL4TECHNICS, a DJ from HabboxRadio who I used to listen to religiously, became Assistant HabboxRadio Manager and immediately offered me a position as a DJ trialist for HabboxRadio. That was 10 years ago, and I'm still DJing for Habbox to this day. Tuning in to ALL4TECHNICS and Mizki were some of my favorite times in general. They were incredibly entertaining DJs and I loved tuning in to them. Me and my IRL friends would tune in to their shows and take turns sending shoutouts so that we could hear our favorite DJs say our messages to each other on air (that was just the "coolest thing"). A year or so after I joined HabboxRadio is when we really started to spike our listener count. I remember that I was the first DJ to max out our server at 325/325 listeners... meaning that there were so many people tuned in that nobody else could tune in.. that was pretty cool.


Another favorite moment of mine was when I was finally selected to work at DJ-3000's HxHD. Working at HxHD used to be a highly sought after position, and you had to be recommended by two current staff members in order to even get an interview to work at HxHD. Working with people like Cypher- was great (used to also love him as a DJ too... dare I say he's the best Irish DJ we've ever had at Habbox? :o).

What else? There are just so many. I loved being part of the Forum Administration team for Habbox US and CA. I loved owning and managing HxHD Canada (I still own the Habbo account "HxHD"). I loved being part of the Admin team for DJ-3000's "Positive Help" website. And also for HabboNation.

I met lots of great friends on Habbo Canada too... like Deegers (owner of BubbleJuice, which I was the Radio and Forum Manager for), Billabong, -Gemini26, wuzz, etc.

Being a Silver Hobba on Habbo US was pretty fun too. My therapy used to be to go play "Kick Wars" on Habbo US... even though I was a Hobba so I couldn't be kicked.. I used to just wait for people to enter through a tele and then just kick them hahaha 0:-)

Honestly there are just way too many memories. Lots of fun times. That's probably why I'm still playing. I keep hoping that the friends I had will return and that Habbo will go back to how it used to be. I'm such an old fart lol.

Maybe it's nostalgia that take me back, But when I saw the photos of @Kardan... Wow! I decided to share some images that I have too.

And a special surprise... Two videos from another event that we did before the big one in Canada that Kardan decided to share. There were Habbo X's from UK, NL and other country. As well as Creme ex Habbo France staff. I was really close to her, we were good friends. And sorry for my terrible English! At that time I was a teenager, 15 years has been passed!

Have no doubt your friends will come, it is one old Habbo's fate, and if they are still proud of and rooting for the game they're grew up in, it's a double victory... they're from habboxforum, too, huh? Yup I know it. I think you are referring to scripting. We had one guy that was very good in that. His name was Eddy91. But we weren't able to convert him to the light side... :)

I saw a news in Italy that Habbo is now dead. Nobody is visiting anymore the Hotel. Apart the old users. What a shame...

Thanks for this - it's really surreal watching a snapshot of you that's over a decade old... All of the people I spent time with - seems like a completely different life! I'm pretty sure the only things I know in Italian (Come stai/Arrivederci) was because of going on the italian hotel!

it ain't nothing but a champagne problem from someone who has relatively just been born, habbo-wise, BUT by only looking at these shots there is some kind of stress in me by the unavailability of the maximize window button (even as somebody who normally prefers gaming in 4:3 and everything) lol. being the shaman of the hottest zone isn't for everybody, however, my friend, and props for experiencing in the game when the user interface and anything was properly pixel art which, although it's confidential info, was the number one reason why everyone was addicted to it
