I was in Paris with school and this guy had a stall with lots of "paintings" on. On closer inspection, they were just print outs with bits of white paint dotted around. I don't even know what happened to the one I bought either, bloody parents didn't appreciate their gift.

this conman charmed his way into our family circle, said he knew someone who could offer discounts on holidays then took some family members on days out for free (with the money he'd stole for the non-existant holidays) to make it look like he was well-connected and add credibility to his scam.
me personally, no, I haven't.

yeah he's in prison now but because he'd managed to con so many people he was able to afford to keep it going for a while and build trust. my dad paid for a trip to vegas, my nana/granddad to miami. we're not very rich so it was a lot and ofc not having a holiday when you think youre getting one, that sucks.

i don't think so
I remember when I was in Year 8 I was conned into signing up to this thing with my phone that took loads of money from my credit each month for free music or something. My dad had to ring up and tell them to stop and I think they refunded me because I never agreed to it. I'm not too sure it was years and years ago.
