Fully am now, I was before but didn't have heart and eyes ticked, always felt real uneasy thinking about it until I thought I could die tomorrow. I won't need my skin as it will just rot anyway and I dn't need my eyeballs. What do I need to see when I'm dead?

I want to donate blood too but last time I wasn't allowed because I was borderline anaemic for over a year

You can't check as such but you can amend your details on the organ donation site

At the end of the day, it's not my decision.

At the end of the day, it's not my decision.

what do you mean?

Jssy
09-09-2014, 08:13 PM
It is your families decision when it comes to it like I'm signed up and everything but my mum said today she wouldn't want to say yes to me being chopped up. But you're not chopped up they replace bones they take with wooden prosphetics so you're not all floppy and they replace your eyeballs with glass balls

Kardan

what do you mean?

If I'm an organ donor, my next of kin can still refuse.
If I'm not an organ donor, my next of kin can still consent.

Jssy

Yeah I told my mum today I'd give all her organs and stuff away so something happy could come of her death and she said it was mean because she'd feel funny about it, so I said she wouldn't feel anything cos she'd be dead. That actually sounds really harsh but death is like the end so I would donate relatives organs so somebody else could live again.

how does it make me a piece of **** if i don't want to be? they're my organs and it's my choice if i wanna give them away or not :s

Jssy
09-09-2014, 08:20 PM
Not that I know of, because they're wanting all the organs they can get because of low supplies. They did talk a while ago about an opt out system but I don't think anything ever came of it

If I'm not an organ donor, my next of kin can still consent.

that seems stupid

I can understand the first point, but the second shouldn't be the case

If you're strongly against it, no-one should have the final say in the event of your death.

you'll be dead sharon

why do you even care what happens with your body?

instead you'll just be wasted organs in a box taking up room underground

joined shortly after by a person who could have benefited from your organs

I am. I signed up when I got my driving licence. Even if I didn't get my licence I probably still would have signed up to be an organ donor. When you die your organs are of no use to you so why not give them to someone else who could potentially extend their life by a number of years? I understand that maybe family may not want your body being chopped up and all that, but they do it in a respectable manner and at least you can go to the grave knowing that you may have helped someone else in the process.

@Jssy (http://www.habboxforum.com/member.php?u=59399); u can check if ur an organ donor on your license. IF U look to the bottom left there are codes, I have numbers 115 and 71. 115 = organ donor, 71= duplicate license.
