Rs help starting again +5 rep

Basically i havnt logged on in years and ive just created an account and its changed dramatically..

Ive done the little tutorial thing and apparently im now level 6? how do i get to level 3.. or is that not possible anymore?

And also i remember you could do it so you didnt have to train defence and you could just do attack / strength. How do i switch off training defence?

This has seriously confused me so much haha!

I was sure non members could play rs 7....but I don't know I only play rs3.

To get a higher cb you need to train basically def,str,att and sum or magic I forgot how it works really. When combat use to be to 200 cb it use to be 2 cb skills to 99 which def had to be to 99 as well. Now they put it back to 138 cb which I do not mind really :)..

As for the making money in old school it is a bit harder as you have to actually make your things and sell it to the players as there are not G.E in old school but as for RS3 since we had the G.E it was kinda easier to make money, buy things etc etc.
Money making in rs3 is quite fast though well to me anyways as EOC made cb easier. They also introduced the Legacy in rs3 to bring back the old combat style but it is an option to use it.

I bought members to check out OSRS, if I had known it resets your stats, I wouldn't have bloody bought it lol...

Pressing F4 brings up combat options, there you can change from 'Balanced' which gives XP in Attack/Strength/Defence and HP and switch to just Attack/HP or Strength/HP - This will stop you getting Defence XP.

Well I am 97 slayer, but whips are 75k? Seems a bit pointless....Plus I have no equipment

I haven't read this entire thread so i dunno if the qu about level 3 has been answered yet, but if you click http://i.imgur.com/Jov7T8x.png then you can click 'Skip tutorial' on the box that pops up, allowing you to stay as level 3.
