What habits have you picked up from your parents?

Whether it's the way you eat food or something you do while driving, etc.

Always locking the back door. My dad used to shout at me for not doing it but now I annoy my mum because I do it too much.

This isn't a habit but my music taste comes from them a lot. I like listening to the Beach Boys, Queen, Madness, Ragtime (Scott Joplin + Joshua Rifkin) & classical music all because that's what I used to listen to with my parents.

I'm from yorkshire and my grandad is literally so so yorkshire in his sayings haha, and if I walk through a door and not close in it he says 'were you born in a barn, bairn?' s from my grandad the door thing is just habit now.

Also sticking kettle on soon as I get to nanas to hear everyone shout their orders from the front room '2 sugars please' 'strong coffee'

The way I argue with people is bang on the same as my dad too haha

More of a habit I DIDN'T pick up from my mother. She's pretty lazy and settles for the bare minimum. I'm ambitious, persistent and determined. Learned from her mistakes I guess.
