I think you need to change the reward.

atm it's 1 week VIP or 100 tokens.

Now lets look at it (default VIP), to buy this 3 months = 7000 tokens, so 12 weeks = 7000 tokens, making it about 584 tokens per week you purchase.

Now lets look at it (exclusive VIP), to buy this 2 weeks = 2000 tokens, making it 1000 tokens per week you purchase.

So realistically if you pick tokens, you lose out on 484-900 tokens worth.

I think the tokens needs to be bumped up a good bit (maybe to 750, 1000).

There's not that many people who manage to hit the 100 post count which is going to cause 10s of millions of tokens to suddenly come into play or anything and as it stands, there's no logical reason for taking the tokens (unless you're going to use habbox to fund your credits.... very slowly)

To be honest if it's a competition to encourage posting on the forum then the reward deserves to be larger in general anyway. I thought the month VIP was more appropriate when that was on offer.

I've always thought that! A maximum of three people win the 100+ posts per week challenge, and that's only very rarely. It's usually either no one or one person. Maybe it would give more incentive to post more, anyway?

is that because you won?

& can we all just please take a moment to appreciate the fact that I am the 69th top poster (Y)

No, as regardless of what options there is I would pick VIP and will continue to do every week I win it.

If it was myself that won the prize i would honestly choose VIP. I've come into the role just posting it and never really looked into it like that. Ill have a speak to Phil and see what he think about changing the prizes!

Yup the reward isn't that great for those of us that have won it multiple times already. Perhaps a cumulative prize could be sorted, encouraging consistent high posting. 1 win - award and VIP/tokens, 4 wins - 1 month VIP, 10 wins, idk

Personalised onclient trophy

Don't think that'll do anything as no-one really wants a trophy from some randomer. It was different back in the days of Sierk giving out trophies etc. Personally I wouldn't want a trophy for posting on forum.

Certainly can't see that encouraging posting tbh :P

Yeah only problem with that is excess amounts of VIP given.

So say I do it every week I'd eventually get like 1 month VIP+ per week :P

Maybe something like;

1 win - 750 tokens OR 10 days VIP
2 win - 1000 tokens OR 11 days VIP
3 win - 1250 tokens OR 12 days VIP
4 win - 1500 tokens OR 13 days VIP
5 win - 1750 tokens OR 14 days VIP
6 win - 2000 tokens OR 15 days VIP

etc, so lower increments rather than jumping straight to 2 weeks VIP etc. so if you win it for 5 weeks in a row you win 75 days VIP in total (so approx 10 weeks VIP).

So instead of posting >100 times for enough VIP to cover you until the next week you'd have extra.

idk

Winning more in a row should increase rewards more than winnin multiple times across a longer time frame. I won about 6 weeks in a row earlier this year for example, had I started posting again now I wouldn't expect to be on the same rung of the ladder as somebody who has been posting consistently over the past 2 months.

That system does look like It would work though
