As many of you know, rumours have been going around that a new fansite will be opening and those rumours are true because this Friday will be the opening of TotalHabbo!

On Friday, we will be hosting plenty of competitions both on the forum and on client which will give you the opportunity to win plenty of prizes such as forum VIP (you'll also be able to get 1 week FREE VIP when you register to our forum), furni, exclusive and if that didn't catch you attention we'll be giving away 500 credits too! You'll be able to find more information out when we open as all relevant threads will be posted on our forum.

As well as that you'll be able to see all the job openings (this includes a management recruitment drive) we have here at TotalHabbo and you'll have the chance to meet our team too, which continues to grow. We have the following departments at TotalHabbo:

Events

So if you're interested in having a role then please don't hesitate to let us know as we are willing to hire you.

There will be a lot of events going on, on Friday at TotalHabbo so make sure to register to our forum and keep your eyes peeled because you really won't want to miss out. Looking forward to seeing you join us at www.totalhabbo.com (http://www.totalhabbo.com)!

Who are in your administration team so far, and I agree what makes you different? Also, as you have said 500 Credits will be given away - how will you keep hold of those members after the opening?

We're not entirely sure how we're 'different' how can we be different, Habbo is a limited platform at the moment and is always decreasing instead of increasing. We're just looking to be more social media than anything. Bring new/old faces to the scene. Yes, there are countless other sites out there but we want to offer a system which is fair and fun for everyone, which you don't get with many of the popular fansites these days - time will tell where we decide to take it, after listening to our community.

We have familiar faces who have been on the scene for many years from the likes of ClubHabbo, HFFM and ThisHabbo etc.

Darren
Aimee
Myself
Matt (Fetch)
Sonny
Harrie
Calum
however, you personally might not know these people but many others do.

We will continue to try offer out of the box events, forum competitions as well as keeping our forum as active as we can possibly make it and hopefully we draw a new community with new and old faces from other fansites who will stick around.

In todays market you need something unique. It may only be a Habbo fansite, but it still stands. Why would users leave fansites they've been a part of for years, made friends at or even worked at; for your fansite?

good luck with it

i honestly doubt it'll last though, most new fansites don't. you need something new to offer when it comes to habbo fansites now, so what can you give that habbox can't? :p

You've done the same mistake that most Fansites make and although I've never had a fansite, I made the same mistake with my online radio station.

If your going to launch - launch. Forget versions - Rather than telling people what's coming soon try to get it there from the start. Too many stations big up their launch and then launch with the most basic site and it can and does put people off - people want the features straight away. You need an actual site, more information etc. For a radio station there's not even a schedule.

Oh I also don't like the fact free users can only view so many posts on the forum. I know you want to encourage people to sign up but to me that just makes me want to sign up less.

Errrr to be honest new fansites are about 7 years too late to the scene. A dwindling target market does not make for a successful website.

They had a unique feature to them unlike TotalHabbo.

HabboQuests is doing pretty well...

One succeeds, 100 flop - the fact that one apple is not rotten, does not mean every other apple in a species is going to be fine.

I never said TotalHabbo will be as successful as HQ but that is a new fansite and is doing well...

probably because HQ had a different edge to other sites, it actually had something unique to it

most new sites are one big rip off of thishabbo, if new fansites had a unique feature they could easily become one of the top fansites it just takes a bit of creativity

I Don't even think that's the main issue, yes a lot of sites are copying and not adding anything unique and its not helping, but the main issue seems to be the lack of an audience.

Most the people who were involved in the original fan sites have probably left now. Habbo is mainly something teenagers use, certainly aimed more at a younger audience so as people grow older they grow out of habbo. While I still use Habbox for its forum, like many users I've not used Habbo in years. Habbo fansites are basically dying.

Is the website up now? Or is it only down due to the radio being offline? I saw an event from you guys the other day and it seemed pretty busy, which is always a good sign.

I've noticed TotalH have a decent community, runnign decent events, etc.
Shame about the main site being non existant and the fact the forum looks exactly the same as every other fansites. (Other than habbox)

Anyone who uses this fansite should probably change their password as I believe their forum was hacked and the database was leaked.
