apprenticeship! all i can say every job want experience now so you need to have done the work before. An apprenticeship is your best option as when you do apply for jobs you will be at the top of their lists because you have experience. An apprenticeship is also good because as well as learning you can earn money which can go towards saving for your future!

I was always under the impression that apprenticeships are awful these days - too many people apply for them, and quite a few people don't get anywhere because of them.

I knew someone that did veterinary nursing, and she did A-Levels at sixth form and went to Uni.

Maybe try and find people in the field of Veterinary nursing and ask them what type of path best suits that profession. It's also what suits you and your personality and how you think you'll excel. Just go with whatever is most appealing to you! If you don't like it you can always change pathway.

I'd say sixth form then find work experience to do in your own time
