Thought I would do a fun article tonight because my parents would always say like "oh, if this chair could talk it would have a life time of stories," and it got me thinking about furni in the hotel. Haha, Let me know what you think:

Hi, the name's throne seat. You must have seen me in the hotel atleast once or twice today. Let's be honest; I am probably the biggest rave right now as we speak. But don't worry, I wont bore you on the simpletons of my existence. You're only here to gaze at my beauty and to make yourself feel high and mighty. The secret to success is to be the best! Atleast, that's what my father always said. Come, follow me into my life. I have a lot to talk about and by the end of it, you might be a bit jealous of me like all the other rares in the hotel. I have most likely been around longer than you have. Making my grand entrance into the hotel back in 2002. I was the king, I was what everybody wanted, and do you know why? Because I was one of the first ever rares to be released. Who wouldn't want me? http://habbox.com/assets/images//2014/10/08/94a1256c03.gif
My value rarely changed and I marked the pivot of currency in the hotel. I am the one who controls the value of everything else. With being a seat for monarchial humans, I consider myself a super furniture. With elegance and prestige I have been seen mostly in high end casinos, and those whose taste longs to be within royalty.
I do miss my first ever owner. Her name was lone. Pronounced "I-oh-nee" ... Please tell me you know who Ione is!? *sigh* I guess simpletons like you may not of had the chance to meet such a person in your time here. Ione was the first ever Hotel Manager of the UK Hotel. She was the cornerstone of all hotel managers after her, and she will always be remembered as my owner.
Lately, with the casinos leaving and betting in general being banned from the hotel I have been forced to reduce my value below the 200 coin mark. Do you know how that makes me feel? I am hurt, in pain and above all else... worthless. I was the high reigning chair. Habbos drooled over the thought of owning me, or my fellow thrones. A few had them, and that is how it should of been. I must not get hard on myself for my value has been steadily increasing. Though I cannot say what will come of me, I will still continue to fight. As my monarchial side would think; Never back down from a fight!

What do you feel about the ever-changing price of the Throne? What do you think will come of the value? Let me know in the comments below!

I liked that. When I first started it was always something I aspired to .. but you find when you get something you've been longing for on Habbo it isn't enough. Then you set your next goal.

I mean I have 10 thrones in my main room currently and I don't think anything of it.

I was donated my first Throne by a very kind friend many years ago.

Considering I never bet/was a dealer and made all my assets from trading I was pretty made up. :)

Ahh thrones... over the years I had periods of betting or trading where I, like many others, measured my success on how many I had. In the end I only ever amassed something like 7T, which back in 2006 was a huge deal (at least to me). Nowadays, I don't own any. It really has lost a lot of its weight, still iconic sure, but there are a lot of contending supers about now. I try to own different rares that actually are rare now, whereas the throne's popularity has always been in its status and prestige, not really in its scarcity.
