in english today my table sat n discussed for an hr about this
if you had an ill friend who had like cancer or something or an illness that meant they had to go/be bald
would you shave your head n go bald as well for them
if you did would it be just something you did without them asking or would you only consider it if they asked because they didnt want to be bald
is this the right forum idk

Tough question tbh..
I guess I don't really know unless the situation sparked up. If it was a really really really close friend then I'd most probably consider it. But I probably just wouldn't do it off my own back, it would need to be bought up in conversation first I think.

Do you mean to raise money and awareness for cancer? If not then I don't really know what shaving your head would do to help them.

I would agree; It depends on the situation, and closeness of my friendship with them.

There's a few people that I'd be right there to shave my head as well if they had to undergo that sort of thing (becoming bald for surgery, or if after treatment they started losing hair)

Only reason being is that I've seen it done (someone shaving their hair for a friend) to help bring a "I can sympathize" sort of thing.

If I felt like being bald really bothered them, then yes.

Yeah I've shaved my head by choice so doing it for a friend would be nothing for me

I think for school pupils yes, it can be daunting enough being so young and having to face something like that. So yes I can see finds doing this to try and ease their awkwardness or bullies getting to then as much at school. Apart from that I don't really get why you would but each case is different.

totally, even if it was just for jokes

I'd look awful bald but I reckon it'd be an experience

Within reason I'd go bold to help/support yes. Though I'd want to keep a bit of hair or if not wear a scarf over my head instead. Whatever you choose is supporting them I feel and think.

I reckon if one of my friends became ill and as a result had to become bald, whether or not myself or any of our other friends would depend on how they felt about being bald.

If it happened and it was something that upset one of our friends, then chances are as a group we'd all do it. We've got a good group that way though.

Yeah I'd go bald no bother, I suppose it's different for those who have been growing their grey lockes for decades.

Absolutely, yes.

I love my hair, and I think I would look awful without it... but if a friend of mine was severely ill, I'd do anything I could to try and make them feel better. Even when my friends aren't ill, I still try to do all that I can to make them happy.

Getting news that one of my close friends was ill would be the absolute worst.

No I wouldn't as I don't need to shave my hair off to show a friend/family member I am there for them.

All this public charity all seems very good, but how much is done out of kindness as opposed to looking good on social media I wonder?

Yeah I'd go bald for them if they felt awkward about it.

I'm already going bald anyway FML.
