How many phones have you owned in the last 12 months?

I thought it would be interesting to see how many people have switched out their daily device multiple times in the past 12 months.

In the past 12 months I've had an iPhone 3GS which I had for 2 years and a Nexus 5 which I've had for about 10 to 11 months. Extremely tempted by the iPhone 6 Plus, but I'm trying to resist the temptation. (A).

I'm not entirely sure of what is what, but it was some sort of crap Sony Xperia, then after that got my iPhone 5 and still have it :) turning to rubbish though, as the top button no longer works :'( (thankfully, can get it done for free woo)

I've had my iPhone 4 for 2.5 years now. So just one.

Oh wait. When I moved half way across the country, I bought a second phone (a prepaid one) so I would have a local telephone number to put on my CV when applying for jobs (I hadn't switched my iPhone to a local number yet).

So I guess I've had two, but my main phone has been the iPhone 4 for 2.5 years now. I just used the prepaid phone while looking for work.

I had a Blackberry Curve 9360 in white for 2 years on contract, and got my Samsung Galaxy s4 in white in February, it's such a great difference I hated my blackberry

Nexus 6 > iPhone 6.

The Nexus 6 is probably superior to the iPhone in almost every way, but I love the design of the iPhone 6 and it would make sense to go back to iOS since I own a mac and iPad which can all now communicate better with the new continuity feature. That said, the iPhone 6 is quite a fair bit more costly than the Nexus. :P

I saw the 6 and it did look a little bigger than the standard iPhone size in the past. I've only seen the 6 plus in person at currys, but that was very brief.

The Nexus 6 has a slightly larger screen, but I don't think the device itself is much bigger, if at all.

I had a Nokia Lumia 800 but the mic was dodgy and it got sent for repair three times. On the third TESCO swapped it for a Samsung Galaxy s3. My contract ended in August and I've now got an iPhone 5s!

Oh don't worry I'm not. I don't have a case on mine either. :P The back of my phone has a surface that doesn't seem to get scratched. I do have a screen protector on it though!

2, my contract for my last one ended in February and I had a HTC Explorer then which was rubbish. I had to delete the Google Play Store app just to get room on the phone. Now I have a Xperia SP and it's fine, it freezes sometimes and crashes as well rarely. Only dropped it properly once at KFC and the back where all the mechanisms to make it work came off a bit and wouldn't go back in so we had to cut one of the catches off of it. Apart from that it's ok, well it's scratched a fair bit though, plus it's white so it shows up more. I have a Stitch case from Lilo and Stitch, but there are reasons I won't use it.

Had my current phone for 13 months or so now. Before that was around 3 1/2 years and before that was about the same length, maybe a bit longer. I have no need to upgrade my current phone as it stands and will only upgrade because yolo why not. Hopefully the Z3 will be nice and cheap by then :)

It has a bigger screen that the iPhone 6 plus but is actually slightly shorter. It's fairly thick due to the massive battery, but it's contoured like the moto x so it won't feel like it.

I've had 2 phones plus a temp while I was getting my Samsung galaxy s3 repaired. I had that for 2 years and I went through two S3s during that ttime because the first one became faulty and I was given a new one. I now have a HTC one m8

had my i phone 4 for about 13 months now, and it's still working really nicely anyway so no plans on upgrading any time soon, before that had a htc desire for about 2 years, managed to drop it in the bath at one point but eventaully got it fixed but then i trod on the screen one day and it slowly started breaking from then on hence the change, would probably not have gone for i phone if i didn't end up getting the extremely cheap deal i got on my i phone due to it being an older model at that point

Well I bought an iPhone 5s in October 2013, then bought another around about the same time this year and sold the original one (water damaged it, so repair would have been £206 but I managed to sell that one for £300 then bought a new one for £500 :P). So two phones in 13 months, but both the same make/model.
