What alternate career would you have liked to go into if you could?

I'm going into Nursing as a career, but I used to want to be a doctor but I'm not smart enough, my grades at school were like average. What about you guys?

I've done Youth Work before and I loved it, so now I just do a bit of it in my spare time, helping out people with disabilities, its very rewarding

i plan to go into finance/banking something similar once finished my degree, but i would love to go into any job to do with animals too, like zoologist or vet or something.

Well still not ebtirely sure what im doing with life and everuthing, but i would like to go back to college next year > uni > proceed to beconibg a teacher if i feel idk mature enough by that time.

However ive wanted to be amazingly good at pixel art for ages abd somehow make a career out of that, though i doubt thatll ever happen as an alternate career.

I always wanted to be a storm chaser researcher (Tornadoes) I always wanted to find a faster way to save people lives. Find better tornado alerts so they have more time to escape before it comes to them.

I'd love to write a script for a film and direct it (or at least have a deep rooted creative input). Unfortunately, I don't really have the skill to make a well structured story as it stands (though I'm getting there!!) nor the funds to ever have it made. So unless I get super lucky, I don't think it's going to happen :P But I guess it could happen...

Alternatively, something that will never happen, I'd love to work with AI. A very broad way to put it, but I don't know how else.

I wrote a script and sent it to BBC Writersroom. if you ever get one finished, send it into them and if it's good enough you'll get feedback. good way to see whether your story is working or not.

its really tough and there's a limited window to send a script in or you miss the window for a year. only 5% of scripts get feedback but even just entering it and seeing how far your script gets is a good indicator of how you're doing.

That's a great opportunity, not sure if my story writing skills are very good though haha, I had to write stories for A-level English Language and my teacher predicted me a U and I came out with a C on results day. I used to really love English though

Haha ;) not a bad sector to be in though tbh. When I was doing travel and tourism I spent a day with the hotel manager of a Mercure Hotel which Queen Victoria stayed in, back in the day 😂 was interesting

I'm doing business/accountancy at uni, and working in accountancy too, but journalism and law are two other career paths I could have seen myself going down. More likely law though - I am actually studying business law as one of my modules atm though!

Airliner Pilot - But it's a lot of money in regards of all of the training etc. And the fact that you may not even get a job at the end of it. It's quite a difficult industry on getting started from what I have heard.
