What made you do it? was it friend, SO, family member?

No, but I certainly wish I could at times.

I cut a friend out of my life a few years ago. I sometimes think about it and get a little sad but it was her own fault. She became an utter betch to everyone who tried to help her. The only reason I get sad now is because she has a baby and it's cute. ;) hehe but no, I get sad because I think of all the 'happy' times when we were younger and would sit outside her house, drinking Dr Pepper through those sweets that were called like cola whips and cherry whips.
Sometimes I almost send her a message on Facebook but never get around to it.
Ah well.

I don't think I have. If I have it's been down to a loss of interest but I'm always willing to talk to them again if need be.

I have also been cut out of peoples lives for no reason and that's not a very nice feeling.

Yeah I've cut out a friend from my life, she wasn't a very good apple and I'm much better off now without her in it.

Do it or you'll regret it, even if you don't become friends again you'll feel like you've had an amicable goodbye.

Not all at once, I've fallen out with people and slowly lost contact but never outright cut someone out on my own.

Hmm actually I kind of did once but I unblocked him after, we've talked like, twice since then but we don't talk at all any more.

I've been cut out before. :(

Yes, it's happened to me twice, but id say it's always been a mutual cutting out from both sides. The most recent time was a couple of years back, in the first year of uni, when I met welshcake; my then current friend didn't like her, at all, so started making up crazy rumours, in the end I stopped speaking to them completely. The problem was that I'd just signed a contract to live with them for a year, so I didn't have a proper place to live for an entire year, because I felt so uncomfortable to be around them.

i cut my best friend out last year (most people know the story) she was just a petty ***** who envied everything i had. she'd be really nice to my face every day and then would go home and think of ways to ruin every relationship i had lol... i put it down to her seeing me happy and not being happy herself so she felt the need to make sure i was unhappy too lol??? she did it on both my relationships, first time by sending nudes to him when we were TOGETHER and confessing feelings for him lol then second time she would constantly harass him on fb telling him not to be with me and that our r/ship was a lie lol, which was one of the contributing factors to the end of the relationship. then anyone she ever knew i had an interest in or talk to, she would try to make contact with every single one in some form on her phone

i never really put it into full perspective for a long time on what an evil mother****** she actually was, but one day i just stopped speaking to her and being anywhere near her, i wouldn't reply to her messages or attempts to talk to me. i've never brought it up to her why i did that but lets face it, she knew. i also never told anyone bout what she did other than my close circle of ppl who knew anyway cos i'm not evil, that was just her on her own. it's only then that i realised what ACTUAL friends are like and ended up a lot happier than i used to be in my final year of h/s. i bumped into her the other day in town after h/s has ended and we've gone to different colleges and she came up to me acting like nothing had ever happened saying hi when i was with Arfar;. just a twisted little girl and karma came to get her anyway

I feel as if I'm being cut out recently and I want to cut a certain person out
It's not a good feeling but it's mainly because I'm just a second choice, and when I'm chosen by them it's not even the best treatment

i've cut out a few friends from my life. they weren't the people who i once knew, they became horrible. i felt miserable around them at certain points and now that i've cut them out i've been much happier.

Cut a few friends out, well friends isn't exactly the right word. I'll be honest, I did it to one person just because my friends were doing it and in retrospect, it was a nasty thing to do, but everyone else who I cut out was just nasty in their own way.

For a couple of people, I "uncut" them which proved fine for one, but the other was just as horrid and intolerable as before. I almost caved to speaking to that person again as I didn't want to be rude, but I can't imagine they'd have changed much. The only bad part about it was they were my neighbour so it was awkward in situations.

I've been cut out maybe twice. Once possibly by an individual, though there was a bit of a "decay" in our friendship and I just think they were just moving on with their life so I don't really hold it against them. The other is from a group and while I don't think I've been outright cut out, it seems shady at times.

Oh wait someone else cut me and my friends out entirely because he found us boring. Didn't see him coming up with any great things to do.

I haven't cut anyone out myself, but I have lost touch with family due to things that happened between them.

I have with friends. They weren't always true so I couldn't be bothered with lies. Wasn't difficult because i am stubborn
