When I bought my Christmas trimmings, the lady in the shop said one of her customers decorated when the kids went back to school. Which means she put them up in September!!!

Chris

Alysha

To be fair, we won't have any other time between now and Christmas to do it. Too many assignments and too much work.

No because it's not even mid November yet.

I'll put up the outside christmas lights in a week or so when I next have time, but I won't turn them on until at least Dec 1st.

Welshcake are you and zeloux sisters or sth :P

Oh btw laura I like your new avater.

Anyways, christmas is not a really big affair, at least for me and my relatives lol. No christmas trees or anything like that. Only on tht day there will probably may or may not be gifts within our own family, then head on over to our cousin for pizza and food and gift exchange etc.

No, it's way to early. I find if you put them up too early then it ruins the whole magic if Christmas, the longer you wait the more exciting it is!

No. Can't see it, sorry xoxoxoxoxo. Pretty sure the people who don't call it trimmings outweigh those who do anyway!

Nope, but we live together.

i want to so bad, i have my decorations sitting in a box ready to put all over my room but i'm trying to wait as long as i can because the anticipation is part of christmas i think
i bet my mum won't let us put the whole house decs up until like a week before... she thinks it's sad that people have already decorated as it's not even december yet but she's a bah humbug sometimes
i'm working on her and i think she's opening up to the idea of putting them up at the begging of december yay

We always put stuff up after November 11th. But we don't put our tree up until December 1st.

Matt
26-11-2014, 01:48 AM
Still not put ours up even though I asked if I could ;l. We all 'do it wrong' so we have to wait until mum finishes work then she puts it up. She gets pretty defensive over the Christmas tree - especially if we are hosting a party that year (which is like every year ;l)

Tyler

If advent calender on the wall is a decoration then yes. (ikr im early)

on friday before my boyfriend came round, i unpacked all of my lil christmas decorations and candles and bits because i thought it would be cute for us to decorate my room together and play christmas music
he wasn't too keen :( he thought it wasn't right to decorate for christmas in november but he said he'd do it anyway (we ended up not doing it though)
tbh i've never put my decorations up until like 10th? december at the earlier and i think i'm just eager this year and haven't really thought about how early it is because of youtubers and how the shopping centres and city is all decorated and stuff
they're all on my floor now i wanna put them around
my room decorations aren't even major they're just cute little festive accent type things? like xmas candles, a little tree and mini baubles, bunting, different shabby chic things idk how to explain it but it's not tinsel or any big decorations if you get me

Chris
