Hey everyone!

As I mentioned in the last edition (find that here (http://issuu.com/mattgarner/docs/oct_box)!), I'm looking for your feedback on how to improve the magazine - after all it is FOR you guys!

I've made a small little feedback form on Google so if you could fill that out I'd be really grateful. You don't need to put your username or anything, so it can be anonymous, but if you want to post below I'll give you a +rep for helping out!

Don't be afraid to give me your real opinions, no matter how harsh you may think, as I want to make this magazine the best it can be. I love making it but if you don't like reading it then there's no point me doing it!

I really think every issue devoting a page to one department at a time would work well. The manager and their staff can express things about their department, funny things that have happened etc.

As it's a monthly issue the token rewards seem too small. I miss The Don;s section, and remove Calum's picture from it entirely considering he doesn't seem interested in contributing.

Before I go on, generally speaking I do enjoy reading it and sometimes wish it was a bit longer).

I think my biggest gripe is the "funny" quote section. I'm not sure if it's because nobody submits quotes so whoever does that bit has to find something someone said to them to fill it, but every single quote has been from Habbox staff of which most held a senior position at the time and most of them aren't really funny unless you were either there in the moment or know them. I think my point is there's such a huge focus on staff in the magazine for the most part and it puts me off it a bit. Perhaps to counter the staff focus, have some kind of member spotlight of say 1 inactive member of "great fame", 2 active users and 1 new member. For the first 3, you could show some stats/their kinds of posts, maybe ask a few things I'm not sure. Then the new member you just see what got them to join Habbox or something. To be honest I've not thought it through entirely, but hey hum. Or you could do as above and include gossip, like a habboxgossip lite kind of thing.

I was going to add that the furni spotlight seemed really short, but it seems that was only the case last month.

^Presumably most 'funny quotes' come from the Staff Quotes section in Staff Only? Or they could if they don't. I like that idea tho.

I usually PM writers the second to last weekend in the month, as I make it through the following week - deadlines are usually the Saturday of the last weekend (so 29th this month) but I'll accept anything throughout the month

I enjoyed it. The design aspect of the magazine seems to be getting better each month and the engaging content is growing. I especially like the member spotlight appearance wise and the gossip section. The quotes are a bit badly edited with white gaps that could be cropped off but overall a big improvement on text based quotes from staff chats.

What other articles r u looking for can I write one on how bad Chris is as general manager

there's not that many people in relationships on hx is there so shouldn't be hard to figure out who

Kyle; the staff stats are always calculated from the last day in the month - it's a November issue so it reflects that month, rather than an odd date in the next month!

Quotes wise, I'm just putting in screenies as editing tiny little bits would take so long when the issue already takes me an age to start with!

And articles, I'm not really LOOKING for anything in particular now, just wanting submissions of quotes and things and then whatever else you'd wanna write.

Oh yh and on the agony aunt thing some questions and answers were particularly long in contrast to others an the shorter ones seemed to be fro habbox members whereas the others had weird names from Australia or whatever. Are these all habbox submitted questions or are they robbed from elsewhere? I would have much preferred a comprehensive answer to the request about the bee colony than an answer informed only by personal experience and opinion on something more serious.
