i've heard nothing but good things about the estee lauder double wear and i'll be getting it once my foundation runs out!!

currently using georgio armani, liked it for summer but for winter i look too orange and it's a bit drying
i'm really poor right now i only get 50 quid a week so i'm just making a list of dupes to buy and try out
a lot of lipsticks and two foundations, maybelline dream wonder fluid touch foundation and avons ideal flawless liquid

cba to list my lipsticks

i'm trying out hair supplements gonna buy visceral hair growth vitamins cos my hairs thinning and only one side is growing... but they're pretty pricey

OH and i've just bought clarins face cream/self tanner it's meant to be the amazing, and need it in winter now i'm pastier than usual

I don't wear beauty products rly, and only some make up on weekdays. luckily i have extremely good skin and as far as i can tell no moisturiser or anything has ever made a difference to my face. I like to use cocoa butter on my hands and it makes them sososo much softer but yh.

omg wait I have a really rich godmother (woooo) who will really splash out on birthday + christmas presents for me. Last year she sent me a jumper from white stuff which was terrifyingly expensive and i struggle to wear it outside in case i do something to it. but anyway this year she's gonna get me some foundation from Bobbi Brown and a They're Real! push up eyeliner. can't wait to try the eyeliner in particular, looks great.
really excited

I've changed from mac studio fix to double wear and bare minerals now sarah! I'm still using samples of the double wear though and I am undecided between what colour I prefer.
I wanna try out mac strobe cream.

I cant wear bare minerals powder foundations or any powder foundations in general as i have dry skin and it just makes it look bad plus i have never found a powder foundation that covers like a liquid. Im still decidin kat von d lock it tatoo or double wear cuz ivebeen lookin up review vids on youtube and everyone is obsessed with kat von ds. Ahhh decisions. Double wear is cheaper tho so prob gonna give it a go

The maybelline foundation is really good. I love it!

I own mostly cheap makeup and replace it quite often so tbh I'd quite like to just have expensive stuff and see how it goes on. I'd really like more of maybelline's 24h stay lip gloss type things, such vibrant colours. I had a purple one but they put the price up now!

Once you buy expensive stuff, there is no going back. My first makeup brand was lancome lmao
I usually just put the lighest bit of ** over the top sarah, ts really hard to build coverage with it but I like the finish, and I got the starter kit for £50 and got 15 pound of points to spend, so it was a good deal! Idc what to do about mac atm, i feel nw15 is way to orange for me now. I need a new shade I think.

Also I am dying to try this mascara!

My mum uses the estee lauder double wear because she has scarring on her face and it covers it really well, she's been using it for years!

I use collection concealer if I need to lmao it's cheap but it's really good, and my eyeliner is l'oreal thats all I know I think it's super liner, I prefer it to most eyeliners like maybelline, collection, rimmel and some others

Remember I had the same problem! Mac nw15 got too orange for me. I'm still searching but I was told to try Charlotte tilbury foundation, might go into the shop and have a look at it on my skin

oh and mascara I just use maybeline false lash effect which imo makes my eyes pop but omg I'd love to try that

A few people I know swear by Clinique, is perfect if you're sensitive to a lot of chemicals, great range of colours (spec if you're very pale). Really good coverage as well, friend has a bad scar on her face and it covers it nicely.

You will want to spend good money on it though, so as not to make you drier :)

Shar

Yeah I've heard clinique is good for paler tones and it has great coverage. Personally Estee lauder has been best for my skin tone/skin type

So tht stupid elizabeth arden foundation was very sheer light coverage clearly the makeup person had no idea wht she was talkin bout. So ordered kat von d lock it tatoo from sephora should be here soon excited to try ahhh

I was talking to a friend about makeup yesterday and she made me feel extremely guilty about spending all my money on high end makeup haha. I actually can't remember when I last bought a drugstore product.

i didn't sample but i have dry skin so if i got 1n2 i think it would have turned orange if i had dry patches on my face! so at least with 1n1 i use my clarins face tanner and then the foundation goes perfectly over it and i can contour and my face doesnt look orange, in summer when my face tans a bit naturally i'll probably move to 1n2

but yes really liking it so far, my next payday i'm gonna get benefit gimme brows as ive never had a gel for my brows before

got my lock it tatoo foundation from sephora today in the colour light 44 with beige undertones, it is just a tinnnnnny bit dark but its alright. only thing i hate bout shopping online for foundations is that u can never be sure which shade. anyways wow- super thick! it is a little hard to blend , i was using my beuty blender but deff gonna dampen it next time to make the application process easier. also the packaging for this foundation is sosososo adorable i love it. i put like less than a pump on my face and its totally covered nicely- looks like real skin too which surprised me but its a nice surprise. i dont have any blemishes or anything so it just made my skin look really smooth and soft lookin. eager to see how it lasts thruout the day as it claims 24 hour wear

My skin reacted rly bad to the clinique clarifying lotion(Toner) that came with the 3 step which sucks. Got red and dry and itchy and ugh returning immediately for sumthing else. Quite disappointing. The mild facial soap cleanser says to use it when theres no makeup on ur face which imo defeats the purpose of a cleanser. Ill stick to my neutrogena ultra gentle foaming cleanser. The dramatic moisturizing lotion is pretty meh aswell. Overall kinda disappointed in the 3 step.

Okay I'm not really into like skincare or makeup (except for eyeliner) but my mum works at No7 and she got me the cleansing water and I use it every morning and night now and it's helped my skin a lot :D

Also I'd like to try a new eyeliner idk if anyone recommends any, I use loreal something, it's really nice and a felt tip liner and it's really easy to use so I like ones that are similar

Is it as good as they claim? I really want to try it but I don't want to be left disappointed after all the hype that's made about it.

I'm still waiting for my eyeko eye do liner order to come so I'm going to try that first.

Red I'm the same as you I'm still using the same old blush and I want to try something new and get a bit brave and try different colours. I'm thinking about trying nars although I'm not sure on what kind of colours I should go for.

also thinkin of buyin NARS creamy radiance concealer. i use MAC pro longwear but it creases alot in my fine lines under my eyes even setting with an under eye powder.
ALLLLSO just bought a face mask from LUSH called Mask of magnaminty. Face bein rly dry rn from the winter so excited to try that out tonight

I've not but I will do this weekend so I'll let you know what I think
I wanted to try the nars creamy radiance concealer but I just got the concealer stick for now. I currently use estee lauder double wear concealer and it just makes my under eyes really dry so I'd like a better alternative.

Update on the urban decay all nighter make up setting spray...I've used it a few times now and I'm actually liking it. It's really hydrating which is great.

How does everyone store their makeup? I've got too much to just keep them in a makeup bag now. You can share pictures of your makeup storage if you like.
