I don't normally go to any but i fancied going back to Bath around christmas so i might as well check out their xmas market. I know that some places have some German christmas markets too which sound rlly good , though i'm not going to any this year :P
The Bath one will actually give me a chance to get everyone's presents over and done with thankfully. So are any of you going to any 'significant?' christmas markets this year? :D

I had a nosey around Winter Wonderland in Hyde Park this afternoon in between lectures, no doubt I will return with some friends in a few weeks after we break up from uni. I always find them filled of artisans and too expensive for my liking so I never really buy anything.

Going to the one here and buying myself and my brother some alcoholic fudge (if there's some left which I hope so)

Sort of, there's a fair that comes here every year and I looked round the stalls last week! It's a load of typical market stuff but not that bad at all, lovely atmosphere :)
my girlfriend has already been to the Christmas market in Birmingham.. I try and stay away from stuff like that :P

Will be going to the one in Edinburgh at New Year and the one here in Glasgow too. :)
I went to the German Market at Leeds last year and it was such a good atmosphere! Where I live we have some old Victorian style Christmas markets, last year in Bridlington they had reindeers there and I loved it and I've been to the one in Beverley before too. Everyone dresses up in Victoria style clothing with top hats and penny farthings and I found it really interesting even though it was for Christmas, because I learnt some history too!
we have one in belfast, so i'll be going to that!

I'll probably go to the Manchester one, I hope the stall selling Baileys Hot Chocolate is still there it's delicious - I made my own the other day :P. I might have a look at Leeds' and Wakefield's if they have one too.

I love the Leeds ones and there's just something about Leeds I love at Christmas! It's so festive

Before I started work, I used to go to Bath Christmas shopping and to the market every year. I loved it.

Just got my alcoholic fudge with homemade glass!!! It looks so cool. Hopefully it tastes alright lmao.
The market didn't seem particularly big overall, but then I've only ever been to two in my life and I always assumed the one in my home town was small because there's not a lot of room. How big should a Christmas market be??
I want to go to Germany to go to a real German Christmas Market!

i've actually never really heard of 'significant' or like well known christmas market... or maybe i have but i didn't know? idk
anyway, it's not a significant one or anything, not even sure if it's the same thing as what this thread is about but i went to the christmas craft fair at the high school a few days ago and it was really nice, there was loads of shabby chic cute stuff and ahh it was so nice, lots of sweets and stuff i got some cute bits i love things like that
not been this year and don't think i'll have chance to either, usually go to the manc one quite a bit :( :(

No, I don't go for Christmas marketing because I don't like the market rust at Christmas season. Some of my family members do shopping for me and I prefer online marketing only.
