It should work.

"Many uses:
Take away the detachable mic and you left with some pretty cool headphones to use on either your laptop/PC or mobile when you’re out and about, I’ve used them on my mobile to watch a movie via Netflix and they worked great for that, and I can’t really complain about the sound quality. I’ve also been using them a lot to listen to music via my laptop as I write stuff for the site and edit YouTube stuff, which it has been a god send for me in all honesty with the kids on Easter break this week. Would they look cool enough to wear on a train journey though? That’s up to you guys, but I might use them myself on the trip down to Eurogamer this year, as it does a great job of blocking the outside noise out."
