Just before I stopped using Habbo there was a lot of sites starting up that were similar to Habbo. In example, ClubTropica.

Have any of them been successful?

Not that I've heard of.

ClubTropica never even opened did it? I think the only one still going from years ago is BittyBay, which doesn't seem that popular.

Who remembers the one that we were associated with, the tree house thing which was basically habbo.

Ooh yeah, I remember that - can't remember for the life of me what it was though.

Meh, you could be right. None of them were that memorable or open for that long to remember properly!

You guys are talking about kazopark. So funny lol the males had breasts and everybody had hunchbacks.

In terms of isometry the only mildly successful (not at all, really) game I can think of is bittybay. Social games though there are plenty, and those that incorporate daily challenges an lots of mini games to encourage children to learn are the most successful and engaging - bin weevils, moshi monsters, etc

This just reminded me of coke music or studios but that was years ago :( wish that carried on!

There's no need with a product like Habbo now any game can have that social element, so I don't ever expect there to be. Clubtropica knew there was no point and just cancelled their client and stuck with some weird minigames things if I remember correctly.

Kazopark tried to start work again some time last year and launched a kickstarter to be able to get some sort of investment but by the looks of it they didn't achieve their goal. They also helped and create another project called robobworld but not sure if this is still active or even successful.

I remember kazopark tried to but failed. I'm quite surprised why there hasn't been anyone, the market has potential.

I think Kazopark had like one busy day which was when EVERYONE from this forum was on it and then just forgot about it :P

This pretty much. I'm sure I went on kazopark a longgg time ago and it wasn't exactly the most thrilling thing ever :P BittyBay is okay and the graphics look nice, but it's not excessively easy to 'get into' cause I never found much to do on the client.

And to whomever mentioned coke studios, I'm so upset I was TOO YOUNG AND MISSED OUT ON THIS ERA

The only thing I can think of similar was Busted Live - that brought back memories with paedophiles and such LOL - wasn't hugely popular, for obvious reasons paha.

Does IMVU counts? also there's one of some penguins but that's for little kids isn't it? I think is more famous than Habbo anyway.
